5.0 out of 5 stars really fun math book, Aug. 22 2009
There are a lot of cool techniques that are useful and fun. Most of the techniques are easy enough that most people should be able to do them. The more advanced and more impressive techniques in the final few chapters are fairly difficult and require a fair bit of practice. Overall very fun and your friends will think your really smart, when really what your doing is very easy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing deal, Aug. 22 2009
This review is from: College Physics (Hardcover)
This book is perfect for a first year physics course. It is not a calculus based text so it's good for beginners. You should have a decent understanding of high school physics though, some of the more basic topics are only briefly explained. There are loads of practice questions on every chapter. The newer revisions of this text don't change enough to be worthwhile, i'd save money and buy this one instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good beginners business text, July 10 2009
This book introduces all of the fundamental business terms and ideas covering all areas of business. The book is easy to follow and provides many real life examples of business' that apply the concept being introduced. The chapters end with reviews and case studies that put you in the drivers seat to get you thinking about how you would handle different situations. There is no complex math in this text so it's suitable for all of us who haven't taken Calculus.
