1.0 out of 5 stars Where is the zero star choice?, Dec 14 2002
I would like to thank Diane Huggins' husband for refusing to watch this and let his wife rent it. This movie was a bunch of garbage. The movie was rated PG-13 for Sustained Intense War Sequences, Imanges of Wounded, Breif Sensuality and Some language. Some language. The actors/actress in this movie must have swear at least 50 times and that is not some lanuage. Pearl Harbor was bomed on the day of December 7, 1941. And 60 years after that this dumb movie was made. The movie starts on Disc 1 and the last 54 minutes are on Disc 2 (which I didn't expect). If you have read this review and found it helpul please vote. But If you have read this review and not found it helpful please don't vote. Did Hollywood think we needed this movie? I am glad that neither me or my parents was born or living on December 7, 1941. Please trust me and skip this movie because there are much better movies out there. Pearl Harbor was bomed by the Japenease. Which means me wonder what people of America did to the people of Japan that made them to decide to bomb Pearl Harbor. At the time of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was not one of the United States. Please do not view this movie. This movie really does deserve zero stars. This movie should not have been made in the first place. All copies of this movie should be destroyed. Or if not, locked in a castle of films to never be released, just as long as you stay away from this movie.

1.0 out of 5 stars You will be disappointed, Dec 13 2002
Grandma got run over by a reindeer is this animated story of a song that was recorded in 1982, and yet this animated story has a couple of things diffrent from the song. (1) Grandma owns a store. (2) She is walking to a store when she gets run over by a reindeer. (3) There is a famiy member that hates Grandma and wants her store sold. (4) In this cartoon story the police are called and Grandma's body is not found and the scene that said she was found in the song. (5) A boy witness that all happening, and the song so doesn't sound like to me that Grandma was witnessed getting run over by a reindeer. (6) Grandma is missing and still is in September of the following year. There should be more things here that are diffrent in the song but I won't spoil it for you, if you do decide to watch this garbage. Grandma Spankenneimer (Susan Blu) owns this store. She reads stories to kids while thier parents shop. But then this young rich man that comes in and gets dressed as a troll to see Grandma to try to buy the place and her grandson Jake (Alex Doduk) tells her not to sell the store and she doesn't which angers Jake's cousin Mel (Michelle Lee). So she puts some bad stuffi grandma' food and when she walks to a store she gets run over by a reindeer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why? Why? Why?, Dec 10 2002
This review is from: A Charlie Brown Christmas (DVD)
Almost every peanuts special or movie has Charlie Brown in the title (to many to name). But here are a few, It's the Great Pumkin Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Your not elected Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Valentine, and Bon Vage Charlie Brown (and don't come back). The only peanuts mvoie or special without Charlie Brown in the title is Snoppy, Come Home. Well, I guess it is better than calling Charlie Brown Come Home. But Charlie Brown is not the only peanuts character, there are Linus, Lucy Van Pelt, Sally Brown, Snoopy (Charlie Brwon's dog), and Woodstock. This time around Charlie Brown (Peter Robbins) doesn't understand Christmas. So he has a little talk with Lucy at her doctor stand (Which she charges everybody 5 cents for her adivce). So anyway Lucy hires Charlie Brown to direct the Chirstmas play. But most of the cast including Snoopy are upset by Charlie Brown directing the play. So I'll leave it up to you (if you want to find out what happens next). It just seems like to me that Charlie Brown is the star and everybody else is a wall.

5.0 out of 5 stars Where's a Charlie Brown Veterans Day?, Dec 9 2002
In this speical the peanuts gang are clebrating Thanksgiving. Charlie Brown (Todd Barbee) is going to his grandmother's house for Thanksgiving dinner. But then Lucy Van Pelt decides to invite herself to Charlie Brown's house for dinner. And keeps calling back with more kids that are coming to Charlie Brown's house for dinner. But the problem is that Lucy doesn't know that Charlie Brown is not going to be home for Thankgiving dinner. She doesn't even give Charlie Brown even time to tell her that he is going to his grandmother's for dinner. So Linus comes with an idea, Charlie Brown will have a dinner with Lucy and the other guests that are comiong and afterwords, he will go over to his grandmother's house. You can buy this by itself or you can buy it in a tree pack (the other two are It's the Great Pumkin Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Christmas).

5.0 out of 5 stars Now you don't have to wait every year for this special., Dec 9 2002
Have you heard of dvd, and wonder what dvd looks like, have you seen cds or games for computers like Gateway2000? If you have, that is what a dvd looks like, and in my opinion the best thing about dvds is, that when you come to the end of a movie or (have a favorite part in a movie) you don't even have to rewind the dvd or even fast foward from the end to the begining or rewind or fast foward to your favorite part. Charlie Brown (Peter Robbins) has got an invation to a halloween party and he and most of the other kids are going trick or treating and then to the halloween party. Expect for Charlie Brown's best freind Linus (Chris Shea) and Charlie brown's little sister (Katy Steinberg) remain in the pumkin patch waiting for the Great Pumkin. Linus (of course) is the only one of the kids that believes in the Great Pumkin and everybody (expect for Charlie Brown's little sister) laughs at Linus and tells him the Great Pumkin is a f-a-k-e. If you are a nig Peanuts fan this is just the special to buy and watch every halloween.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not a 5 star movie but still a good movie!, Dec 8 2002
This review is from: Charlottes Web (VHS Tape)
I have to agree with Teddy Schwarzman when he stated that it is werid that his girlfriend has him say "I'm your Charlotte", she is the one that it is really say that he should be sayomg "I'm your Wilbur". "I'm your Wilbur". If you love Charlotte's Web, Charlotte's Web 2, Wilbur's Great Adventure is coming out next year. Charlotte's Web is this animated movie of E.B White's book. The movie was out in 1973. As the movie opens, Fern (Pamelyn Ferdin) saves a baby pig from her father when he decides to kill the runt. She names the pig Wilbur and keeps Wilbur as a pet until he is 6 weeks old when her father finally decides that Wilbur as to be a pig and not a pet and as to be sold. The pig is sold to Fern's uncle Homer Zuckerman (Robert Holt). Where Wilbur (Henry Gibson) learns to talk and is freindless and wants a freind and at the same time misses Fern.

5.0 out of 5 stars Elvis Presley's first film after the army, Dec 4 2002
This review is from: G.I. Blues (Widescreen) (DVD)
G.I. Blues has to be the only Elvis Presley film that his name appears more than the opening and end credits (if there are any). And that happens when a man who during Elvis Presley's 2nd song in the movie decides to play an Elvis Presley song on the jukebox. Tulsa McCauley (Elvis Presley) dreams of opening his own nightclub in America with his two army buddies Cookey (Robert Ivers) and Rick (James Douglas). The songs that Elvis Presley sings include G.I. Blues, Tonight is So Right For Love, Wooden Heart, and Blue Suede Shoes. Even though, he got out of the army, a few months before filming this movie. And he had to get back into an army uniform. This was the first of 9 movies that Elvis was directed by

5.0 out of 5 stars The first of 3 Mighty Ducks films!, Dec 4 2002
This review is from: The Mighty Ducks (Bilingual) (DVD)
I somewhat doubt there will be a 4th Mighty Ducks movie. Think about it, there hasn't been a mighty ducks out since 1996. This was the first of three Mighty Ducks movies to come out. Gordon Bombay was a pee-wee hockey player up until he qutis when he misses a pentiity shot. And about 20 to 25 years later he is a lawyer (who claims he never loses) but he doresn't count a case when he scored with a reporter. His rival is Frank Hundy (Steven Brill) and he decides in a case to pretend to have a meeting with his client when he just wants to keep them waiting. But then Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) is arrested for drinking and dvring. Where in a case where he denfes fimself that the judge finds out that Gordon has trouble with the law. And his boss (Josef Soommer) decides to keep him on play roll but suspend his divers lience and orders Gordon to 500 hours of commuity servce coaching pee-wee hockey. He hates hockey and he doesn't like kids. His first game is against he old pee-wee team (the Hawks) coached by his old Hawks coach Jack Reilly (Lane Smith). If you like this how about you watch the 2nd Mighty Ducks movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best Disney animated movie, Dec 2 2002
This review is from: Pinocchio (VHS Tape)
Pinocchio was Walt Disney's 2nd animated movie and 1st with the main character as a male. This movie was out 3 years after Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The movie is about a puppet who wants to be a real boy. And his father also wants him to be a real boy. As the movie opens, a cricket named Jiminy Cricket (Cliff Ewards) comes to the home of a puppetmaster/maker Geppetto (Christian Rub) who is about to finish a puppet whom he names Pinocchio (Jones). And before going to see sleep that night Geppetto makes a wish that Pinocchio become a real boy. And a blue fairy shows up after Geppetto goes to sleep and brings Pinocchio to life. And tells him if he can prove himself brave, truthful, and unselfish that one day he will become a real boy. She also tells Pinocchio that he has to know right from wrong. And dubs Jiminy as Pinocchio's conscience. And promises Jiminy that someday he may get a badge. When Pinocchio makes some noise he wakes up Geppetto and at first thinks he is dreaming. Pinocchio runs 88 minutes. To bad Disney put htis out of stock on 1/31/02. But look at the bright side, in about 10 years, Disney will re-release this movie.

The Indian in the Cupboard stars Hal Scardino and Litefoot. It is about a boy who turns 9 years old and gets a magical cupboard as a birthday present. And the cupboard brings to life toys.
