2.0 out of 5 stars Not About Dreams!, Oct 1 2003
This book is not about dreams, so if you want to know about dreams, you should get "The Dream Book" instead. I don't understand this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm not allowed to have a lighter, Oct 1 2003
This review is from: Burning in Paradise (Paperback)
Michael Madsen is cool. I gave this five stars. He's got his own lighter. Some people don't think lighters are cool, but they're like my mom and they don't have one so how would they know. I don't like poetry. It makes me mad, and his poems are dirty. I especially don't like dirty poetry because they have words you can't use unless you want to go to jail.

Did you ever see that movie Donnie Brasco. If you look closely, you'll see him. There are exactly zero poems in Donnie Brasco. I liked it better than Donnie Darko.

I gave this five stars.

3.0 out of 5 stars Plato is not my King, Oct 1 2003
This review is from: Introducing Plato (Paperback)
Plato doesn't make people fight. He makes people think about why bad people should be eliminated. I like when he says "Yes, I agree" but I get mad when he yells at people. I like in the pictures when he's talking with his hands and wearing those sheets. In one story, Plato was in trouble for hurting the youth and they found him guilty. I think it's sad that he had problems getting along with the law, but maybe he should have thought twice before doing all his corrupting.

5.0 out of 5 stars I AM BELGARION, Sep 30 2003
I am the orb. My aunt's Polgara. I have a racecar and I will race you. I would rather read this book than go to school. I read this at lunch. I need something to do, because the other kids steal my lunch money. But I say to them, "A pox on you." My uncle turns into a wolf, and I will slay the king of Murgos anyday.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not about football, about Rudy, Sep 30 2003
I bought this DVD thinking it would be about football. It's not. It's about Rudy. Rudy is also in The Lord of the Rings. It's awesome when he gets carried by the tree people. When I saw it in the theater I shouted "AWESOME!" and then someone hit me in the head with a Raisonette.

1.0 out of 5 stars I failed my paper, Sep 30 2003
This review is from: Defoe (Paperback)
This book has nothing to do with William Defoe. I failed my paper. She should have calld her book something else, because I didn't know until it was too late! I copied some stuff out of here and my teacher said I didn't even proofread. If you like William Defoe, you should see the movie Platoon. 'Nuf said.

3.0 out of 5 stars More Mathers Please, Sep 30 2003
Is this all the Mathers you get? What about Jerry and Marshall. And we all know that early American lit is more boring than the late stuff. This anthology would really benefit from some Chuck Palaniak.

My favorite novel included is Mary Rowlandson's Captivity Narrative. I can't imagine how hard it must have been to go without church for all that time. She really had strength.

NOTE ON THE TEXT: If you really love American Lit, you'll find the puritan stuff much more engaging than the 19th Century. I keep a copy of Volume A by my bedside.
