We enjoyed having this guidebook to discover Kauai; I still think it could be laid out in an easier way to find/connect attractions or sites to map, etc. but is was of great help anyway to plan road trips, visits, etc. and get to know the island better before our first trip there.
We were looking for a restaurant (Josselin Tapas) and it was a couple of km further down the road. Some trail that was said to be "rather flat" did ask for some more muscle than flat trails usually do. The warnings for dangerous areas are clear, objective.
I would have given 3.5 stars if it had been available ... :o)
Lovely binding, great work, and an excellent Spanish practice. GGM has probably as much vocabulary as Shakespeare.... The book arrived on time, all is well.
This is by far the best, compact student dictionary I bought, even better than the same size Longman. Most of all I appreciate the clarity of its layout, which makes it easy to use, rapidly.
Being a fan of Guido Brunetti, I couln't resist this book, offering both great cooking recipes, and glimpses of Brunetti's working scenes. The recipes I have tried up to now reflect perfectly the flavors of this country filled with beauty. Great gift for a friend who loves reading as well as cooking.
