I enjoyed the story overall but a little too much French especially for someone like me who knows very little of the language.

I really enjoy this time period in romance novels. This story was great. The characters were terrific and the plot had me swiftly turning the pages.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stormy weather in store for beautiful young wife,, July 19 2004
This review is from: Thief of Hearts (Paperback)
Poor Nouri Sommers! What a jerk she has unknowingly married. I instantly connected with Nouri Sommers (the heroine of this fun adult series), I found Nouri someone I wanted to care about and get to know a lot more about. I enjoyed my first visit to the island paradise of Lambert and now look forward to a return visit in the second story of the Lambert series.
