Celine Live in Vegas!, Jun 26 2004
This is a live album which takes songs from her successful Vegas show, and offers fans a chance to enjoy it at home. There's also 2 new studio tracks. "You And I" is her current single, and it's doing well on the charts. The other song, "Ain't Gonna Look The Other Way", is a great song, fun uptempo positive song Celine has been known to record, especially on her last few albums. The live portion of the album is good. However, my one complaint is that there are not enough of her hits, and some of the ones on here are very short. It's nice to hear her sing the classics but I'd rather hear some of her big hits live, instead of "Nature Boy", "At Last", "Fever", or any number of songs. She did a good job on them at least. The best song live is "My Heart Will Go On". Overall a good album for the fans to own.

One of the few songs from Damita Jo that I like, Jun 17 2004
I'm glad that "All Nite" is Janet's new single, it's one of the better songs from DAMITA JO. This is a pretty good single to own. Besides the Japanese version of the album, this is the only place you can get the b-side "Put Your Hands On", which sounds like it should have been on the album. There's also two mixes, one for "I Want You" and one for "All Nite". There's also both videos! A value packed single!

Great remix!, Jun 17 2004
This single features the red and green (pop and country) versions of the song "Thank You Baby". As well you get the video, which is the best from the UP! era in my opinion. Shania is in some sort of display at a museum. It's cool! The reason to get this though is for the Almighty Mix of this song, I predict if this was released in North America she'd have a club smash hit with this one. The remix is great! If you're a fan you'll definately want it.

Does she ever give up?, Jun 10 2004
A disapointing EP from Madonna. If AMERICAN LIFE wasn't a big enough flop, she had to release this druge. You get some average remixes and a live track, and a b-side from BEDTIME STORIES titled "Your Honesty". Well honestly Madonna honey, this should have stayed in the unreleased pile. You think she could just know when something is a flop and move on, but apparantely not.

Not for me, Jun 5 2004
Dolly Parton is one of my favorite artists, and I usually love just about anything she does, but I just couldn't enjoy this album too much. Sure, the sentiment is nice, but I just can't relate. I'm not an American, not even religious, so to me it sounds like she's just preaching on this CD, when really she is just celebrating. So I think anyone who is patriotic and loves America would enjoy this CD, I just can't relate to it. She wrote most of the songs, and added her own flair to old favorites. It's not an essential album by any means, and I hope she will release an album of new material soon. It seems she will be promoting this one for a while now though.

Excellent album, Jun 5 2004
George Jones recorded these 10 songs on COLD HARD TRUTH...then he was in a car accident that almost proved fatal. In a coma for a few weeks, he eventually came out of (thank goodness!). The album is stunning, and one of his all time best. Jones really understands what true country is (how could he not, since he's recorded since the 50's, resulting in many many albums). He's had his ups and down in his life and career, this album would definately be an up. The first single was the autobiographical "Choices", a song where he laments about how he must live with the choices he's made. Considering what he's been through, it rings true. There's a good balance of uptempo songs, and heartfelt country ballads. "Real Deal", "Ain't Love A Lot Like That" and "Sinners & Saints" are great uptempos, and "This Wanting You", "Our Bed Of Roses", "Day After Forever", and others are great ballads. He could have copped out and covered some songs, or included some collaborations, but George Jones just did albums his way - like he's always done - and ultimately came back in a big way.

One By One, Jun 4 2004
This is definately one of my top favorite Cher songs. Cher has always been known to sing songs about acceptance, love, unity and understanding. This song is no exception. The mixes are quite good. The version of ONE BY ONE with Melle Mel is very nice, a sultry R&B song it's turned into. The Junior Vasquez Club Vocal Mix is my favorite on the maxi, turns it into a great dance song. In fact, the original version of this song was not a hit but the song was a hit on the dance charts with it's remixes, which was almost a precursor to the direction she would take with her 1998 album BELIEVE which brought her back. The X Beat Mix is great too, and there's also an X Beat Dub and the Junior Vasquez Club Dub. As well, the b-side "I Wouldn't Treat A Dog (The Way You Treated Me)" is on here, which was not on the US version of the album ITS A MANS WORLD. Overall a great single full of great mixes for an awesome Cher song!

Great song, but sad that there's no mixes, Jun 4 2004
ALIVE AGAIN is one of my favorite tracks from Cher's LIVING PROOF album. It wasn't a single in the US, but released in the UK. Unfortunately, no mixes. This song is just screaming for some mixes, they would have made this track a dancefloor hit I bet. You get the original version of ALIVE AGAIN, plus the Diane Warren anthem WHEN YOU WALK AWAY which was only available on the US version of LIVING PROOF. There's also a mix of THE MUSIC'S NO GOOD WITHOUT YOU. Good single to have if you don't have the mix or WHEN YOU WALK AWAY, still it's sad that ALIVE AGAIN has no mixes.

One of my favorites from Cher, Jun 4 2004
Cher's ALL OR NOTHING gets two remixes on this UK single. The Almighty remix turns this song into an even bigger anthem than it was to begin with. I usually enjoy their mixes and this is no exception. The K-Class Mix is very good too. The mixes are pretty long but it's a great song, a great anthem that was a pretty big hit for Cher.

Worth it!, Jun 3 2004
This is a good single to buy for Kylie fans. Not only do you get a remix of Red Blooded Woman (the Whitey mix), but there's some added bonuses. There's also the music video (enhanced CD). The wonderful Chemicals Brother Mix of Slow, which is one of the best remixes I've heard recently, it's very trancy and fits the song extremely well. There's also some b-sides. "Cruise Control" (the original version) has a rap in it, so it's not the same version as the one on the US version of the BODY LANGUAGE album. "Almost A Lover" is an excellent b-side as well, it's very retro sounding, and would fit in well on the album. Overall a value packed single!
