3.0 out of 5 stars Worst of the Middle Earth Saga., Feb. 20 2015
The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies leaves a lot to be desired. Plot holes galore. Cliche climaxes. Pitiful war fight. Ridiculous references to the coming Lord of the Rings trilogy. Legolas is apparently auditioning for the Matrix. Return of the King this is not. Very disappointing.

Mediocre war movie. Very cliche. At the bottom of recent war movies.

2.0 out of 5 stars Birdman. No flight., Feb. 19 2015
Boring. Boring. Boring. Pointless banter back and forth with no real plot. Honestly one of the most useless movies I have ever seen and that's saying a lot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly an adventure., Feb. 19 2015
One of the best films of 2014. The movie is quite long, but watching Mason grow up and seeing the world around him change and morph with feelings and emotions of happiness, sadness and triumph is worth the journey. There is no real plot in this movie. It's like being a fly on the wall in Mason's life. We just see him mature and grow. Younger people such as myself will be able to relate to this film greatly and parents will reminisce of an age gone by when they had to say goodbye to their children as kids and see them become adults.

1.0 out of 5 stars Trash, Jan. 25 2015
It worked as it should have the first time. But when I added more files to it and inserted it into my TV or computer it would crash and and not even open the files, displaying an "error" message on the screen. I had to erase everything then put the files back on it again but same problem occurred all over again. I tried inserting it into my computer one last time but now when I do the flash drive icon you click on to access your files doesn't even show up anymore. Threw it in the garbage where it belongs. For a superior USB, purchase the Transcend brand. Very reliable.

A beautiful and heartwarming movie for the entire family. Great lessons on family bonding and how to get along as a group. Highly recommended especially for the kids.

2.0 out of 5 stars Pompeii explodes with boredom, Aug. 3 2014
Very slow and boring period movie. Effects were mediocre and the acting was bland. By the time the volcano erupts, you don't really care about anyone or anything because of no emotional connection to the characters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant and a worthwhile journey!, July 30 2014
Lucy was a brilliantly staged and engaging movie. From it's intriguing beginning to it's "out of this world and beyond" climax, Lucy showcases a powerhouse leading lady that is a force to be reckoned with and worthy of standing with Jason Bourne and any superhero.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovin' the Logo, June 4 2014
I purchased this book under a recommendation of a teacher of mine who showed it to me. It's a very easy read, takes only a day or two. That said, it's filled with fantastic information, not just for starting graphic designers such as myself, but for experienced professionals as well. A great insight into what logos are, the correct design process to use, what to ask during a brief with a client and how communicate with each other to achieve a successful relationship, and a suggestion on how to charge for your services, etc... it's very much to the point and direct, with great insight into how to design a relevant logo that not only stands out but you and your client will love. I will most definitely be reading this book more then once.

3.0 out of 5 stars Maleficent Is Not A Villain, June 2 2014
This is the truth in her new movie, "Maleficent." Not once is she portrayed as the self proclaimed "Mistress of All Evil" but as a bitterly scorned woman. The script itself was pretty awful with a disjointed story that left more questions then answers. It just kind of jumped around without any real sense of direction. Now on the pros, Angelina was brilliant as the dark fairy. The movie was also beautiful to look at. It had nice touches here and there, with very minimal nods to the original. The "breaking of the curse" part, though I won't go into detail, came as a nice surprise and I appreciated what they were trying to do with it. The ending itself was pretty horrible. All in all, at the end of the day, there just didn't seem any point to it all.
