This is yet another CD that I was able to listen to from beginning to end without changing the track and/or getting bored. It seems as though the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Jokers cards were the only CD's worth wasting money on. As always this CD contains massive amounts of filth and profanity but if thats what you're looking for that you'll want this album.
If you're interested in escaping from the goofy rap that is Psychopathic Records than you might want to give this CD a listen. While you're still subjected to listen to the voices of Twiztid and ICP you'll be pleased to know that the overall album content is far from what they usually produce and extremely tolerable to listen to and not to mention actually enjoy. I was honestly able to listen to this CD from start to finish without even changing the track which as some of us know is quite a challenge when it comes to Psychopathic Records related music (ABK, Blaze, Twiztid, ICP, Zug, Etc). If you're smart you'll purchase the ORIGINAL version of Tales From The Lotus Pod because as we all know but often fail to admit is that Marz is far more advanced than the lisping rapper we know as AnyBody Killa.
With the exception of perhaps 3 songs this CD has to be one of the worst Twiztid CD's I'v ever heard. The Intro does an excellent job on hyping up the listener but as soon as the 2nd track kicks in your just about ready to fast foward to the next track in hope that it'll get better from there. As far as I'm concerned the only Twiztid CD worth spending the money on is Mostasteless and perhaps both Cryptic Collections, The rest are complete and utter (...).
This is yet another ICP CD that was tolerable and somewhat enjoyable depending on what mood you're in. Being the 2nd Jokers card it sticks to the ICP genre of horrorcore with songs like Mr Johnsons Head and The Loons. If you want straight up killing and profanity this CD is worth it.
This has to be the best CD ICP has put out. Amazingly enough one is able to actually listen to this CD from start to finish without changing a track. This CD as well as just about any other ICP production is filth and profanity laced but doesn't bore the listener at all unlike just about every other CD ICP put out from the 5th and beyond.
