5.0 out of 5 stars You Think You Have Bad Days, June 24 2004
By far Alfred Hitchcock's best movie. About a man accidentally caught up in the world of spys. Cary Grant plays a man sitting in a restaurant with some friends, he has the misfortune of raising his hand to get a waiter at the same time some men call out another's name. He gets mistaken for a spy and is sent on a chase accross the country to 1.) avoid being caught 2.) Find out what the heck is going on and 3.) Fix what is going on. There are many classic scenes like the crop dusting plane not dusting any crops but chasing after him. And the Mount Rushmore chase scene.
Just a great spy movie with lots of action and twists up the backside. You should enjoy it if you like movies at all.

1.0 out of 5 stars She's a Phony, June 24 2004
This review is from: In The Zone (Audio CD)
She isn't real. Real musicians PLAY their music. Real musicians SING their music. Real musicians don't CANCEL tours because she twisted an ankle shooting a porn video. Real Musicians don't SUCK. She's a horrible role model for kids and a horrible person. Maybe some prison or being dead will fix her.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Space Odyssey, June 24 2004
This review is from: Somewhere in Space (Audio CD)
This is actually a progressive power metal concept album based on Arthur C Clarke's 2001: A Space Odyssey (That's the author, the guy who directed the movie version was Stanley Kubrick). This is really good music and good vocals and just plain fun to listen to.

5.0 out of 5 stars You Know I'm your Ruler, June 22 2004
(...) I was looking forward to geting it today. But this is the best season yet of Aqua Teen Hungerforce, the show about food product people that live next door to a bald fat classic rocker with a pool. They do stuff or weird stuff happnes to them. that's what its about. My favourite episiode is the "Broodwitch" About an evil sub sandwhich that shake finds and he will die with eternal pain if he eats it all. Hil-freakin-arious!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Start of a Classic, June 22 2004
This review is from: Stargate SG-1: Season 1 (DVD)
Since tv channels don't like science fiction shows anymore (as we see with the cancellation of shows like Farscape and Firefly) it's nice to see at least ONE scifi show remain, and that is the all powerful stargate. It was pure genious to make this spin off of the movie. The movie was really good, but threre was so much more they could do (and they did) with starting sg-1 and exploring alien worlds and the such. The acting is really good and you care about the characters. This is a great show and each season is totally awesome!

5.0 out of 5 stars Robin of the Hood, June 22 2004
This review is from: Lady Of The Forest (Paperback)
I just recently finished this book. I absolutely loved it. A new telling of the love between Robin and Marian is really good. We see how horribly corrupt Prince John is, wanting the crown for himself and willing to keep his own father prisoner or dead to do so. The sheriff is one of the most despicable of all. His lust of Marian destroys many around him. He ruins the lives of those who used to be loved ones to get any attempt to just get her inti his bed. Even though she loved Robert of Locksley (aka: Robin Hood). Anyways, Robin wants the king back and so he and some bandits (met varius times throughout the novel) of Sherwood start stealing from noblemen such as the sheriff to pay for the King's ransom, while at the same time Marian always seems in some sort of danger, wheather its trying to get sexed up by the sheriff or being accused of witchcraft by the sheriff (because of her refusal to submit to him) or even when she was kidnapped (from the sheriff!) by an outlaw murderer (who ends up helping Robin in the end!).
Plus we get to see more inside Marian as she questions the womans role in that time period. Those who "wait" for their men to return. They are the ones to wait, worry, clean, and bear children, and submit themselves to any man. Marian, as the novel progresses, grows a spine and begins to challenge the male society.
If you like this book, finish up tha story with LAdy of Sherwood. I would also recommend Marian Zimmer Bradley's Avalon books, Arthurian and Avalon legend from female persepectives. Very good readings.

This is for those who are past their anti-people, hate everything, I-want-to-kill-myself stage. Good Progressive idustrial metal, Devin Townsend does an excellend job on vocals, singing screaming whatever he feels like it. This album is EARNED.

This is really good thrashy hardcore metal, ala a combo of norma Jean, ZZZZZZao and Dead Poetic. Plus the cover art is cool. Scream along.
