4.0 out of 5 stars Keep it Going, Dec 24 2012

Only one episode was suspect. A wounded Canadian soldier turns up, and claims to be the missing heir, the script was rushed and it showed. Fortunately the rest of season 3 was so good that you forget and forgive that misplaced episode.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Traditional, Dec 24 2012

Not your traditional Yuletide music and songs, but so well performed by all musicians and singers. I think I will keep playing it between Christmas and New Years day.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Thin Story Line, Dec 24 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Brave (Bilingual) (DVD)
Wonderful animation, with very good voice over from all actors. However, a thin story line, led to the movie sagging in the middle. at least 20 minutes too long.

2.0 out of 5 stars Forgetable, Nov. 23 2012

This review is from: Another Life (DVD)
When you asked about a review of Another Life, I must admit I initially couldn't remember watching it, and that was only 4 weeks ago.
I thought back as to why I purchased the movie and, recalled it was the cast, but even the ensemble couldn't uplift this script.
A sordid Victorian love affair with sordid Victorian justice, or rather injustice. I wondered, what was the point of this film?
It is a story (with a couple of changes) that would have been best served if it was woven into a few episodes of Downton Abbey.
