Almost great CD, Aug 27 2009
I was lucky to get an advance copy of this cd. What could have been a 10/10 review became a 8/10 Here is why, the two great tracks from the infected ep, Body world and Systematic madness are not include on this cd, they should have been included and have not included Devil's rendezvous, and heavy metal heaven . These two tracks are horrible, the Manowar like cheesy chorus just don't work, and ruin the mood of the album. However this cd is Still good enough to buy which I am waiting for Amazon to stock. UDO has once again done a great job in recording hard hitting, melodic metal with one or two ballad like songs

ONE OF MAINDEN'S BEST, May 1 2009
I have been a Maiden fan since the Killer days, Di'anno is amazing and I think Bruce is outstanding. That being said the first album with Blaze was so-so but this one rocks big time. Great songwriting, great vocals only bad is that the Angel is a little too repetitive, other than that I cannot understand how a true maiden fan cannot appreciate this disk. I recommend that you play no prayer back to back with this one then you tell me which one is better. Blaze is basically Bruce minus an octave. But that lower range works on this music

Bad sound, Jan 23 2009
Worst sounding live album from RUSH. I was so excited to buy this I have been the biggest fan for years, what a great track list. I cannot believe in this day and age a cd can sound sooooo bad. Put it this way I cannot listen to this it sounds like someone taped it with a tape recorder at a concert then transferred it to a cd. The mix is horrible, the vocals are way in the back. All the worlds a stage sounds better. WUZ up Geddy?????

AMAZING, Jan 23 2009
This is such a great cd all killer no filler. Great music and great voice. Classic metal yet and Nu metal. This is what he should have sounded with Maiden, Maiden should have left him spread his wings and unleash his talent, instead they made him sing Bruce songs and made him come across as sub par. There are so many metal cds out there and they are all good but this one stands out as one of the best metal cds of the year by far. This cd makes me feel the same way I did when I was a kid and I bought a new cd from my favorite band and I would play it over and over again because it was a classic. this are one of the cd's where you do not regret spending 20 something dollars.

The Worst sounding live album, Dec 19 2008
There are two reason as to why I buy live albums. Number 1, I am hoping that the artist will update and breathe new life into their older songs. Number 2, a better production of their older songs hence a better quality sound. Now I am just reviewing the CD here Yes, Twisted Sister manages to breathe new life to their back catalog, more raw and angry. However the production is so bad you can't really hear anything, so what's the point???. I cannot stress enough how bad the production really is, It is one of the worst live production I have ever heard. I am in totally shock how bad the quality of this cd is, Was making a horrible sounding Cd part of their plan? Let me put it this way I put on Under the blade right after and Under sounded like a re-master compared to the live disk. I paid 18$ for this and I feel like Twisted Sister ripped me off, I can't return an open CD????. Now I remember why people started downloading music because artist kept taking advantage of music fans. Twisted Sister should be ashamed of themselves. Again buyer beware!!!!

Acdc- Black Ice review, Oct 10 2008
I was fortunate to hear an advanced copy of the new acdc album black ice. I was pleasantly surprised. Here is what I thought 1. Great vocals by Brian, yes he cannot hit those high notes anymore but he doesn't not sound like daffy duck anymore as in the past. 2. Very melodic again it seems that Brian really worked hard on ther melody something that has been missing from the last few albums 3. Most of the songs are toe tapping strong, usually you get two or three good tracks on this album I would say 12 out of 15 are great. 4. They should have just put 12 songs on this CD and it would have been a classic. 5. Production is great, great guitar, bass and drum sound 6. This is the album they should have made after Flick of the Switch 7. Songs that were so-so, Skies on Fire, Smash and grab, black ice, these songs are fillers and could have appeared on any Acdc throw away album 8. it's not Bon Scott era but it sure is one of the best Brian era albums 9. Buy it, I will as soon as it comes out 10 A lot of potential radio hits on this one

Classic rock!, Dec 17 2007
This is Iced Earth's best album to date and I can't understand why Iced Earth would want to bring back Matt Barlow and get rid of the Rippper. Tim Owens rules big time and his voice will be misssed. This is a classic album unheard of by today's standards, it ranks up there with AC/DC Back in black, LEd Zep (all), Iron Maiden number of the beast etc... We often ask ourselves how come albums today are not as good as the albums of the past. This is the album we have all been waiting for!!!This is that album tells us that there is is still classic music to be made!!! From begining to end, great music, great lyrics and great singing. Worth every cent

Enhancing Maiden history, May 2 2007
I was skeptical about Paul's attempt to Re-do the Iron Maiden classics from the first two Iron Maiden albums. It's always dangerous to re-do history especially when history does not need changing. The premise of Dianno's ambitions project was that when the first album was recorded the production was poor. Needless to say Paul has done a good job. The good, Paul does a great job singing on most tracks, standout tracks, Remember tomorrow (listen the the last note he hits), Killers, Running free, Wrathchild. The music is tight and the sound is impeccable. Great job on the knobs by Lea Hart. Also I'd like to mention how the guitarist throw in a few licks of their own that really create new dynamics to the songs The Bad. I was a little disappointed on Charlotte the Harlot and Phantom something just did not seem right. Perhaps it was there lack of back vocals on phantom and on charlotte the lack of precision. The almost bad This is an import and I got all the cd notes in Japanese I would have liked it to be in English. Also on this Japanese edition there is a Lea Hart bonus track that is a good song but just not suited for the album. Too much ooo hhh baby Overall Paul pulls it off and worth the buy

Rush have transformed once again, April 22 2007
Bottom line Rush have once again changed their sound. If you only like Rush from their first album to Permanent waves then you will not like this album. There is no Cygnus X 1 here or Working man . However if you own all the Rush albums and can appreciate their mutations from album to album then you will love this new CD. This album has a moody and organic flavour too it making it quite different and fresh. More of a 90's flare to it then the millennium. I really recommend listening to this album for the first time on headphones there is so much going on in the mix. The good; There are guitar solos in almost every song! The production is cleaner then Vapour Trails kinda like the Test for Echo period. The lyrics are personal and religious based, amazing like always. There are two instrumentals tracks and one acoustic guitar track (shocking). The arrangements are fantastic, time changes, key changes, songs are a lot longer. There are acoustic guitars in many of the songs. Some blues guitar. Vocals and melodies are very strong and they seem to grow on you the more times you listen to the cd. The keyboards give a haunting vibe and are in the background. The album is prog rock more so then their last releases The almost bad- drums mixed way too low and the drumming is not as aggressive as us Rush fans like it However Neil does really shine on a few tracks. The guitar solos are short and sometimes they too are lost in the mix. I would have liked to hear a keyboard solo and perhaps an epic song for old times sake. The bass is similar to the Vapour Trails playing however Geddy does rip on the instrumental tracks. Also I would have like it if Geddy would have belted out a song like in the old in days just to bring a new dimension to his singing. Why I didn't give it a 5/5 well this is not Hemispheres, Moving pictures, 2112, Grace or Power Windows. But still a whole lot better then Counterpart, Test, Vapour. Rush please bring back Terry Brown for a 5/5 next time!!! Still a definite buy, run and get a copy.

A great tribute!!!, Mar 30 2007
I was very skeptical of this cd with all live Maiden performances by Di'anno. My first thought was," oh no not again more half a**ed maiden tunes from Di'anno again.... " However I have to say this cd is very enjoyable. Probably Paul's best live maiden performances to date. Finally a live cd from Paul that says I am a solo artist on tour playing the classic maiden songs as they should be played. Great to see Women in uniform. I would have loved if this cd was longer and included more tracks from the Iron Maiden Killers album like drifter, twilight zone ect... Nice production, great playing and great gargling razors in your mouth vocals.
