No new material here. . ., May 16 2004
If you hate President Bush and his administration, you might get "good feelings" by reading this book. Otherwise, no new ground covered here. For conservatives like myself, you might want to read this book just to remind yourselves that there are people who will do and say anything to discredit President Bush and his supporters--yes, their hatred runs that deeply.

Keep your "enemies" closer, July 23 2002
Vanden Heuvel is to the left what Rush Limbaugh is to the right. Objectivity be damned! However, the authors state their positions passionately and persuasively. Like one of the reviewers stated previously, if you have a conservative bent, the articles will make you really think about your position. If, on the other hand, you are more liberally inclined, these articles won't say anything that you haven't already heard.

A good read. . ., July 4 2002
Why 5 stars? Because I'm conservative, and this book appeals to my decidedly partisan political outlook. Let's be honest folks. None of us is really objective. We rate/vote/argue/whatever along ideological lines. Oh yeah, and the *other* side always makes it personal (goes without saying I suppose). Anyway, if you're conservative, you'll enjoy this book. If not, it'll [tick] you off.

Practical and Entertaining, April 12 2002
Idealogically I disagree with these guys on just about everything, but their book was an entertaining read on some basic principles of management and leadership.

Good book. . ., Jun 21 2001
. . .because I voted for Bush and agree with the outcome. For the Bush-haters out there, you can continue wishing death and calamity upon the Bush family. If your wish comes true, throw a party.

Interesting. . ., July 9 2000
If you are a Michael Bolton fan, by all means, get this CD. Also, if you are open to hearing these traditional opera arias interpreted in, shall we say, a "different" manner, this may be the CD for you. HOWEVER, if you are expecting a Pavarotti-like or Domingo-like performance, DO NOT get this. I thought that I was openminded, but just couldn't get into this album. . .hence the 2 stars.

Good CD, July 4 2000
This is an outstanding album. However, listeners may also want to try "Amore: Italian Love Songs" by Luciano Pavarotti. I'm not going to get into a silly "who's better" debate--everyone is entitled to their opinion. Is it possible to enjoy Bocelli and Pavarotti BOTH? I certainly think so! Shoot, I even enjoy Domingo, Carreras, and the "Irish Tenors".

2nd Best, Jun 30 2000
Overall, this is an excellent CD. However, I also have John Williams' "From the Jungles of Paraguay." If you had to pick only one, go with Williams.

Good CD!, Jun 22 2000
Ordinarily, I would rate this CD 5 "stars." However, it has the unenviable fortune of being compared to John Williams' all-Barrios CD--"From the Jungles of Paraguay." Admittedly, I am a John Williams fan(atic), so my opinion may be a little biased. David Russell's playing is awesome, however, he is just unable to match Williams for sheer technical prowess. With that said, I would still recommend this CD. If you had a choice, go with the Williams recording.
