Hard to put down, Jun 21 2004
This book starts off with the brief biographies of both Romero and Carmack. From there you're taken on a wild journey of intrigue, deception, comraderie, and at times, chaos. The author does an excellent job of telling the story of how two guys with similar taste revolutionized the world of computer gaming. You'll be amazed to see how much effort and struggle was put into the formation of id software, and how success changes people. This book reads at times like a Hollywood novel. The reader will definitely have a hard time putting this down. I highly recommend it.

Decent sequel, Jun 9 2004
Although not as good as the first, Jackie makes an all out effor in this film. The story is somewhat silly, but the action more than makes up for it.

Some bad acting, but still up to par, Jun 6 2004
Ignore the bad acting and analyze the action. Even in America Jet is unstoppable in this final film in the OUTIC series. I recommend this to all to Jet fans.

Great package deal!, Jun 6 2004
The best movies included are Shaolin Temple and Kids from Shaolin. Born to Defense is not really worth watching unless you're bored.

Easily forgotten, Jun 6 2004
It didn't take me long to forget this film. Once again it stars Jet in a strange role.

Easy to forget, Jun 6 2004
Another Miramax chopped up version of a Hong Kong film. The story is half decent, and the action exceptable, but this movie is not hard to forget.

Weak plot, and bad acting, Jun 6 2004
Had it not been for the few decent action scenes, this movie may have never made it past editing. Jet was young in his career, and was unfortunately handed the script for this film. The movie starts off with Jet, a solider, engaged in a heated battle with the Japanese. He and a friend later return to the city only to discover that it has drastically changed. Foreigners are everywhere belittling the Chinese culture. Jet soon makes enemies with an American soldier, who will try relentlessly to destroy him. Unless you buy the 3 DVD pack that includes Shaolin Temple, Bodyguard from Beijing, and this movie, I'd honestly suggest avoiding this at all costs.

Bad acting, bad action, Jun 6 2004
I only saw this to see Jet Li and was very disappointed. The acting was bad, and the story sketchy.

Good drama and action sequences, Jun 6 2004
Even in a love movie Jet never fails to deliver. Sent from Beijing to protect the fiancee of a businessman, Jet gets straight to work by laying off the entire security staff. The rest of the movie involves him fighting with the fiancee about his hard hand tactics, eventually leading to feelings of love.
