This is a book of hope, and there is a lot of character growth. it is not just fun to read but it is really inspiring too.

immature, and not helpful, but entertaining if that's what U are looking for.

i liked the conversational style, and felt like someone who cared about me was giving me advice. I liked that a lot because she's right that no one gives advice anymore excpt dumb women's mags, but no one my age is going to be interested in her arguments about whether modesty is "socially constructed," ectectera. (I don't think.) Too much intellectual argument stuff. first section is the best for younger women, in my opinion. Also, the author should write another book just for advice for girls my age.
