First off, this is not going to be a cure all solution for everyone, everyone's situation is different and as a result some antennas may work better for some people vs. others. With that said, before buying this antenna, I had been through 3 different ones, ranging from $20 up to $60 and none ever gave me access to CTV, let alone enough channels to justify their cost. So I gave up for awhile but one day while in a local computer shop I happened to stumble upon the RCA ANT111, which at the time was on sale for a very good price. I figured what the heck for this price, it can't be any worse than anything else I've tried. Little did I now, I would eat those words.

Anyway, I got it home, hooked it up to my Samsung LCD, and proceeded to fiddle with it while scanning for channels. Took a little work but eventually not only was I getting CTV but 10-12 other channels as well. It was nothing short of a miracle since to date nothing had picked up CTV, let alone CTV 2 and here this little cheap antenna was accomplishing both and delivering content in HD. Needless to say, I was thrilled.

With that said, I will say it's not perfect, while I can pick up channels like CTV 2, to get them clearly enough for proper viewing, I have to move the antenna around, which causes me to lose some of the other channels I can pickup (though this might be fixed by obtaining an amplifier, I've just seen little reason to buy one for this inconvenience). That said, for my occasional use, it's never been a major pain.

So with all that said, would I recommend buying this antenna, it's dirt cheap, as long as it can pickup a signal, it will deliver HD/digital broadcasts just like any other antenna (you don't need an antenna that advertises HD/digital, any antenna can pickup these signals, it's your television/equipment that's need to be capable of decoding these signals). The only thing I would suggest is when buying your TV antenna, whether this one or a different one, is buy from a retailer such as Amazon where returns are easy, since antenna reception varies wildly depending on your situation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Amazing, July 18 2012
I've owned my Galaxy S II for almost a year now and it's still as wonderful to use as the first day I got it. First off, it's got a beautiful screen, that although eclipsed today by larger and better displays (ex. Galaxy Note or the SIII), is still stunning to look at, performs great (I've yet to find anything that really bogs this phone down, thanks to the dual core Exynos processor) and unlike phones from certain manufacturers (cough Motorola cough), is easily rooted and flashed with custom ROMS, hence making the customization options nearly limitless. Since buying this phone, I gone between stock Gingerbread, Cyanogenmod 7, through to the leaked and official Samsung releases of ICS, the Cyanogenmod 10 betas (Jelly Bean) and now Paranoid Android (Jelly Bean), all without a sweat. Needless to say, keeping up to date on Android is not a problem on this phone and you don't give up features such as a microSD card slot and hardware based buttons like you would on the Nexus series of phones.

Also in addition to the ROM support, accessories for this phone haven't been all that difficult to find online (due to the fact the Galaxy S II is one of the best selling Android devices to date, next to it's successor the SIII), heck I even found a Doctor Who case for this phone, which is rare in Android phones, due to the sheer amount of Android devices on the market.

Now with all my praise done, I'll head to my one major issue with this phone, the battery life. Regardless of what ROM I've used, I have never successfully gone much past a day of battery life, whether it's the stock battery, my extended stock size batteries or my much larger extended battery, there is simply nothing I can turn off or modify that won't make at least one charge a day necessary. A typical day nowadays on Jelly Bean is about 14-16 hours depending on usage which I can easily accommodate for, but if you're away from a wall socket a lot, keep this in mind.

So, where does that leave us, I'll tell you where it leaves me, I can't recommend this phone enough, even nowadays due to the price you can score one of these at now as long as you can accommodate the battery life, since the carriers are giving these things away (seriously the deals make this phone a better buy than most budget Android devices that are just being released) and used market prices are very reasonable for the most part. The Galaxy S II has plenty of kick left for the future and thanks to the open nature of the phone, you won't be left behind for Android updates as long as you're willing to read XDA.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Wonderful, July 18 2012
First off, I was a skeptic about trackball mice and already owned a Logitech MX400 laser mouse, which I still love for certain types of work, but after buying this mouse for someone else, I fell in love with it and ended up keeping it, since they never took to it. The trackball glides easily, the buttons are fully customizable with Logitech's software (I have mine mapped to scroll and document flip), it's simply a breeze to use/learn and does wonders for your wrists since you never have to move your hand or the mouse around (hence making the fact this mouse is corded a non-issue, unless you need something portable for a laptop) and this mouse naturally contours your hand over the buttons and trackball.

Is this mouse for everyone, probably not, but if you're looking for something to help prevent wrist injuries, is a wonder to use and are willing to give something new a try, I see no reason why you shouldn't pick one of these up right away.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but not Perfect, July 18 2012
First off, these are quality headphones, they produce some good sound (nothing knock your socks off amazing, but definitely one of the best sets I experienced in this price range) and they are built to last daily use. I'm going 6 months on both my red pair and green pair and both are still as good as the day they out of their shipping boxes, mainly because the 3.5mm plug is well built and the headphones frame is of metal construction.

Now that brings me to the negative aspects of these headphones, 1. They do not fold so to store them while on the go I either have to keep them around my neck or have a backpack with me to throw them in and 2. They can be slightly uncomfortable at times, nothing downright unbearable but if you don't wear them right it can be an issue.

That said, do I regret buying them, not one bit, they remain the best headphones I've ever purchased and I would highly recommend them if you're interested in full size headphones, plus they have a look that can't be beaten by most other sets of headphones on the market today.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great but not Perfect, April 17 2012
Well first off, this battery does what they promise, it extends the battery life of your Samsung Galaxy S II (in my case, the international GT-I9100) by a considerable amount, since getting the battery, I have yet to once empty it with my normal usage (on Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich) whereas I could empty the stock battery in less than a day and I've never noticed significant differences in charge time, though, I've never had to deplete this battery to near empty. They also include a new battery cover, which is kind of necessary as the new battery is more than twice as thick as stock and without the cover, is actually slightly thicker than the Galaxy S II itself.

The problems are, well the obvious hit your phone takes on thickness, though this is a compromise most, including myself are willing to take, the cover itself isn't nearly as nice as the original, it's simply black shiny plastic and shows scratches/fingerprints like crazy and cases are near impossible to find since most of the cases in existence for the Galaxy S II are not designed to account for larger than stock batteries. I also find the cover isn't quite as secure as the stock one because it only snaps into the upper cover holes and the battery itself without the cover, falls out of the phone much easier (most likely because this battery is technically designed to fit the i777 as well, even though this battery rarely works with that model).

So in short, if you're looking for a cheap solution to your battery life woes, this is certainly it, just don't expect a perfect, no compromise solution.

2.0 out of 5 stars OK, but definitely a bargain bin purchase, Jan 5 2012
Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
Naughty Bear is certainly an interesting game, just the idea of killing teddy bears in various ways certainly catches the attention of gamers such as myself but unfortunately Naughty Bear delivers a flawed, glitchy and sometimes annoying experience. First off the camera is horrible, it literally follows whatever direction Naughty Bear is facing, causing some aggravation when you're trying to plan your next move. Second, the storyline, it's extremely linear, needless to say unlike games such as Grand Theft Auto, the whole game follows a set storyline that gets old really quick, bears do something, you proceed to kill them (whether by scaring them to insanity/suicide or killing them with various weapons). Even the methods of killing get old quick, I mean you can only see bears beat themselves to death so many times before it gets repetitive. Third, the glitches/random issues, one example is if you're hiding in the bushes and yell out, you scare the bears but they never see you, common sense dictates the bears would look in the bushes for you, but this game offers no challenge or even real rewards for being stealthy, you could literally finish most levels just by brute force.

In short, while Naughty Bear is a interesting idea, unless you can find it in the bargain bin for less than $20, it's not worth picking up as you have little incentive to finish the game and most likely find it's only enjoyable in small spurts.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, but not for some gadgets, Jan 5 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Well if you're looking at this, you're no doubt enticed by the prospect of charging your various USB gadgets off something attached to your wall and while this function works great, it does have a flaw, the USB ports together share just 1 amp of power which means you can't charge some higher draw electronics, or you can't charge more than one USB device, case in point, the iPad will charge off this, but your other USB port is pretty much useless as the iPad draws nearly all the power available and with tablets like the ASUS Transformer or the Nexus 7, they can't even charge off this device, so you're still stuck with it's included USB charger being plugged into this unit. That said, it's low profile, held in securely (as it actually uses the screw hole from your wall plate to hold the unit in place (with the provided screw in the package)) and takes up little space, so it's still a much better alternative to expand the number of outlets you have while taking up minimal space (and giving your devices surge protection), just don't expect to charge your smartphone and tablet at the same time.

If you ever needed to remove old thermal compound/pads you know how much fun that can be, well ArctiClean changes that completely. Put a few drops of Stage 1 on the offending thermal material and let soak in for 30-60 seconds and that thermal material can be mostly wiped off by tissues, although Q-Tips or a lint-free cloth are recommended (also be warned Stage 1 does smell like oranges, sometimes intensely). Repeat if necessary (especially if the old material was poorly applied or too much was used) and then move on to Stage 2. A few drops of Stage 2 should be applied, let sit for a few seconds and wipe with Q-Tips or a lint-free cloth to dry and you're done and ready for fresh thermal paste/compound/pad. Total time once you get the process down, less than 5 minutes and you're left with a beautifully clean surface with no aggravation. I seriously can't recommend this stuff enough if you ever redo thermal paste/compound on anything inside a computer and although the bottles aren't large, you're only putting out drops at a time so one bottle is good for more than a few applications.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good All Around But Severely Lacking Bass Performance, Jan 1 2012
Well for a basic computer speaker set, the LS21 set is certainly better than a lot of the sets out there by lesser known brands, the speakers sound fantastic and get plenty loud enough without distortion. The major letdown is the subwoofer, it is very weak compared to some other sets I've played with and turned up full blast, you still barely notice it (I find it's about as good as the built in sub woofer on my HP DV7 series laptop). By comparison the comparable Logitech S-220 set I purchased for someone I know, has better bass performance and is similarly priced.

That said, it does have an great control pod, which even includes a headphone jack for those times where you don't need speakers and it's certainly better looking than some other speaker sets so as long as you're not looking for bass performance, it's still a solid speaker set for your computer if you need something cheaper but still want a good performing set for your music, video and online video watching pleasure (though I would suggest trying to find a S-220 set if you can find one for around the same price).

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Perfect, but Excellent for the Price, Dec 21 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This kit is definitely a great deal for anyone considering a ASUS Transformer although be aware that the price does show in the quality of the case, as the case I received, just like other reviews, does not have camera holes that line up perfectly with the cameras in the tablet. The screen protectors and HDMI cable though are perfect, with the HDMI cable producing excellent picture and sound and the screen protectors doing their job well of protecting the screen on the Transformer because despite the fact it uses Gorilla Glass, Gorilla Glass can't prevent all scratches or other types of damage so do yourself a favor, if you're at all considering the Transformer tablet, order one of these kits as well. While I can't give it a perfect rating due to the case, it's still a way better value than other packs out there.
