Excellent for every body, Jan 29 2012
This form of sweater is fabulous and I love the patterns. You can choose what particular draping you like, fit it to your body type, and use a variety of yarn weights for your special look. The patterns are easy to read, work and adapt. Thank goodness we are getting away from the standard cardigan look that has been around for decades. High praise for this new, sexy, swingy style and pattern book that will have us all feeling like ladies again. Judith Virta

Change for mankind, Jan 29 2012
Very interesting and thought provoking read. People are so blind to universal process, and certainly unaware of or dismissive of the 26,000 year processes, that they brush off much that could be of vital importance.I think that while there are many possibilities for the actual tangible earth changes such as pole shifts, we also need to explore more closely the spiritual changes that the Maya discussed and predicted. We as a species may be coming to either an explosive end, or a massive cultural change. As I understand it most species last about 10,0000 years. So, if we as Homo Sapiens Sapiens have been here about 6-7000 years, then we too are due soon. In looking at the past predictions and massive cultural changes noted by the Maya, we need to consider and prepare for our own. I also find it very interesting that so many writers on this subject (including myself) come at the matter from different theoretical contructs but see the same possibilities and the eventual demise of mankind if we don't make some significant changes to the way we live, both materially and spiritually. Intriguing and thought provoking, Jan 29 2012
Streiber has done it again. This book is a fascinating presentation of one theory for what world changes will occur as 2012 comes to fruition. This man consistently manages to see beyond the everyday, the accepted understanding of the world, and to see what may be a very important turning point for mankind, both spiritually and tangibly. I find it quite fascinating that Streiber and other writers on this subject, including myself, approach it from slightly different angles but come to the same conclusion. I think that people need to read these various accounts and take very seriously the possibilities postulated. We can't all be wrong. 2012 is just the beginning of what could be a tumultuous change for mankind. I also recommend The Coming Global Superstorm. Again Streiber seems to be bang on. Great entertainment, July 24 2011
The sets, the locale and the fabulous cast make this series truly enjoyable. The adventures tie in the Greek mythology with modern humor to give the viewer a lighthearted experience, rather than some of the heavier mythological interpretations that are out there. The stories are well thought out and keep you on your toes. Kevin always comes across as a hero and is eminently suitable for this role. I will be buying the rest of the series. I'm not afraid of Entrelac anymore., July 23 2011
This book is beautiful. It is an essential guide to showing you how to do this beautiful and intriguing type of knitting. I am an expert knitter who loves colourwork, and lace, but I have always been intimidated by entrelac. I thought I would try one more teaching method, and voila. I lucked out with this book. I am well on my way to more beautiful creations, now adding entrelac. Judith Virta (Sheol Has Opened-Kindle)

I want more Jenny Gibbs, July 23 2011
This book gives me the information I needed to answer the why and most importantly the how of interior design. She gives specific lists of things to look for, where to find them, why you look for them, and what to do with them. I have been able to create functional plans, design checklists, and process maps to follow from this book. Thank goodness because with all the information required in assessing and designing a space, I was beginning to think I'd never find a simple format to follow. I like to be well organized and methodical and Gibbs shows the way. Her love of design also shows through in this work and inspires me each time I read. I will be buying more of her books. Beautiful and very useful book, July 23 2011
This text gives me all the information I need in a well organized and easy to absorb format. Remembering how, when and why the styles evolve is easier here than with other texts. And when I want to look something up it's easy to find. I also love the fact that they give an extensive bibliography for me to gather further info on my favourite design eras. It sure makes my design coursework easier. Colin and Justin educate us all, July 23 2011
Colin and Justin share the information we, the average consumer/decorator, need to prevent making a mess of our spaces. They share insights with humor, savy wit and colourful creativity. I have read their other books as well and recommend them all.For the renovator the Million Pound Property Experiment is particularly useful. They give more behind the scenes detail in their books than other "for public consumption" books. Judith Virta (Sheol Has Opened-Kindle)

Another fabulous Atlantis story, July 23 2011
I love the ability to escape to a place far away from this reality. The beautiful city of Atlantis, the deep friendships of the characters and the unending adventures they get into. The tension continues and I look forward to more. Judith Virta (Sheol Has Opened-Kindle)
