Excellent pattern variety is the hallmark of this book. It gives detailed written instruction and the pictures of the finished product are very helpful. Those that find charts helpful will be frustrated by the omission.

Overall a good reference book.

The book provides a large variety of patterns to choose from. The range of pattern difficulty is good as well. The only shortcoming is a lack of instruction on basic techniques for fair isle and intarsia.
