I lost 9 pounds on the Method, June 4 2010
A self-confessed diet & exercise book junkie, the Method is a refreshing change from books that seem to treat me like I'm a 'victim', simply because I'm overweight. Deb Leblanc is a straight shooter and she treats the reader with respect and intelligence which I personally clicked with.
She's also very funny in a chick-lit kind of way, especially in her myth-busting and I had an a-ha moment reading her chapter "Notes from a Former Toast Junkie". I agree with the other review, her 3-day cleanse is fantastic and it has no-supplements, plus the recipes are easy and delicious.
I'm happy to say I lost 9 pounds over 6-weeks following the Method. I have 30-lbs to go but I'm losing as I continue to follow the Method. I actually was waiting to write this review until I saw that the weight loss was going to stick. I learned a lot from this powerful little book and I recommend it to anyone who wants to lose weight.
