This movie is unlike most of Doris's Films in this one their is no singing no happy go lucky like most of hers. Someone wants to kill Doris Day ? Who would want to do that. Could it be Her Aunt Bee (Myrna Loy) Could it be Roddy MacDowell, Could it be the sweet Construction worker ? Who is it. This movie takes you on a Mysterious Who Done It adventure in London. This is a great suspense film and one not to be missed. I have all 39/39 of her films and this is one of my top favorites because it isn't like most of hers. Rex Harrison plays a beautiful part as her husband. This movie just goes on and on through the streets of London as she gets threats over the telephone meets mysterious stranges in the dark. This is a truly great movie. I highly reccomend it to anyone who likes Doris Day.

I love Doris Day Movies and I own all 39/39 of her movies but I have to say that this is my favorite one. Doris was so magical in this role as Miss Georgia Kent and Who can forget Jack Carsons fantastic Role as the Detective. Elvira Kent (Janis Page) thinks that Her Husband is being unfaithful and her husband thinks the same about her. So they both make the other one think they are going on their honeymoon so they each send a spy but they don't know that the other one didn't go. Well Georgia uses the name of Elvira Kent and The Detective thinks she is Elivra Kent and they go on a merry little chase. This movie was Doris's Film Debut and she sings my personal favorite song in this movie It's Magic. And who can forget the catchy tune the Tourist Trade. What a beautiful movie. This is a great movie for the whole family to enjoy.

This movie is deffinately not one of Doris Day's Best. Doris Day plays a sweet and innocent lady who wants to have a baby but they keep trying and can't have one so they contact the Rock-A-Bye Adoption Agency. Well the Investigator comes to the house at a bad time. Doris's husband Richard Widmark is chasing a mouse. And the playboy next Door. Gig Young is over and starts making advances towards her. Well in a few minnutes she is starting to leave when Doris and Gig Youngs wife come in and they see what is happening. Well Doris talks to Richard but she can't find out anything and the adoption agency says she must be going. Then Gig convinces Richard to lay back a little bit and gives him some tranquilizers. The next thing we know Richard is riding in his car with the Adoption agency. Then he falls asleep and she drives him to a hotel. The next morning he finds himself in a hotel. Well he hides the fact from his wife. Then they get a call from Rock-A-Bye and they say they have a baby for them. Well when Doris sees it she thinks it looks to much like Richard. Well everybody thinks that and one day Doris sends Richards mother a letter and Richards mother sends her a pic of Richard when he was a baby. And she shows it to Richard and he says when did you have that pic of the baby taken. And she says Ha I knew it this is a picture of you when you were little. Well the movie ends well.

I own all 39/39 of Doris Days Movies and I bought this one a few weeks ago. And I didn't remember all of it since I hadn't seen it in a few years. And I will say one thing I wasn't to happy.

Margaret (Doris Day) is a famous actoress on the Broadway Stage is famous for her roles as a virgin storms out on her Husband Peter (Patrick O'Neal) when she finds out he was fooling around with a nother women Roberta Lane (Lola Albright). And then she accidentally gets mischarged of having some relationship with Waldo Zane (Robert Morse) who went into her vacation house when she was in it and fell asleep right next to her. This movie takes place when the Lights Went Out notice the Title Of The Movie. I can see why this was never rated as one of Miss Days best movies it catches her in a bad role. Great Cast Corny Movie.

This is a excellent drama! Rick Martin (Kirk Douglas) is a man who as a child peeked through the window one night into a Night Club and saw a person playing the Trumpet! Well he sees what is happening and he wants to play! The man teaches him and he turns into a big famous movie actoress! Well it ends up in a big nice story! This is an excellent movie and I promise you that you will deffinately love it he gets married to Amy North (Lauren Bacall) but then finds out that she is the wrong woman for him the girl who he really loves is Jo Jordan (Doris Day) this is a great movie that you will enjoy!

Martin "The Gimp" Snider (James Cagney) meets and falls in love with a poor little night Club Singer Ruth Etting (Doris Day) and promises to help get her into the big spotlight! But something goes wrong she has a mind of her own. Well he fights and uses his connections to get her to the top of the singing act and they fall madly in love. But he still haunts her all of the time. Ruth also falls in love with one other man and it makes Martin deeply jealous! Doris also sings a lot of other nice songs like Love Me Or Leave Me. And many others this is one movie that you should deeply enjoy!

Jo McKenna (Doris Day), and her husband Dr. Ben McKenna (James Stewart), and their little son Hank McKenna (Christopher Olson) go on holiday to a small mid eastern country! While their they get tied up in a fight for right full of intrigue, kidnapping, murder! Their they meet a detective that is on the tail of an American Family supposedly going to be bombing the British Royalty He first expects the McKenna family but then he is mysteriously murdered! They then find out that their dear friends that they make are actually the people who are planning the nasty deed! Well they kidnap Hank and Jo and Ben follow them to London this movie has a touching ending! Jo is playing Que Sera Sera at a big party in London at Buckingham Palace and Hank hears it and Hank's captors wife tells him to whistel the tune and he does it and Ben hears it and follows the tune up to find his son! Great classic movie and Tear Jerker! I highly suggest it to everyone!

Grover Cleveland Alexander (Ronald Regan) is a Telephone worker who is always off playing Baseball instead of working he has a big crush on Aimee (Doris Day) well she tells him that if he marries her he has to give up Baseball permanently and put all of his attention on working and making their farm a big sucsess! But he gets hired to play for a big Baseball team and is offered a big deal of money to play Baseball Games so Aimee decideds to cancel her rule and let him go play well he becomes a great sucsess and they buy a big farm but one game he has an accident and falls over and gets Double Vision! Well after months of work he is able to go back to playing Baseball but it happens once again! Well he finally gets over it and he redeems his stardom! Great touching Adult Drama Film!

Clark Gable and Doris Day had such chemistry in this movie they are always annoying each other. Jim Gannon (Clark Gable), and Erica Stone (Doris Day) are 2 rival Newspaper business people! This movie turns into a great classic comedy and the 2 learn to love each other I highly suggest this movie to anybody !

Kitty (Doris Day)'s father is Pop Wonder 9(Jimmy Durante) a bum who runs a big circus featuring the famous elephant JUMBO! Well they have a lot of problems keeping the Circus up and running because Pop has a major addiction to playing Crap Games! And he looses almost all of the movies so they are always stalling the cops and the people with excuses with a lot of other stuff! But then Sam Rawlins (Stephen Boyd) comes down to town and he tries to take over their circus by doing a lot of annoying stuff! But Kitty and Sam fall in love! Then Sam's Father Pop Rawlins comes to town and steals the Circus Sam and Kitty and Pop Wonder make their own new Circus and Sam and Kitty get married!
