I bought this book and was disappointed that none of the reviews commented on the American content. I ended up giving it away to a friend in the US. A great book (if you live in the US) but just not what I was hoping for.

I used this book to explain the importance of quiet and why sometimes we need quiet. It's a good book for early primary students as the illustrations are simple but engaging. Putting it in a board book format would be even better.

This book is perfect for not only Earth Day but also for teaching social responsibility. My kindergarten class understood the message through the simple story and beautiful illustrations. It's a must for every classroom library.
