This is an excellent workout. You use weights but because of the way the workout is laid out, you get an excellent cardio workout at the same time. It is non stop. You go from one set of reps of one excercise and right into another set of something else right away. At the end of each rep, you do a quick set of that excercise by pulsing. The instructor is excellent as well. I highly recommend this DVD if you have been working out for a while. It is not a beginners DVD by my opinion.
