do not read this book, I will tell you the conclusion, Mar 14 2009
the writer of this book thinks that Kissinger is not war criminal. so what else do you need to know about this book? this book is pieces of selected facts and full of omission of facts. another establishment scholar and apologist.

we are merely an object., Mar 14 2009
one may think by reading this book somehow you could see through propaganda, but that is not true. Ellul clearly states for us propaganda is inescapeable. we are merely an object to be manipulated by the bombardment of all kinds of propaganda, produced not by according to Ellul some hidden group of people but by the machine itself.

fascinating book, but..., July 4 2007
Alex Steffen tells us about eco-friendly living. But, I think many of his suggestions are over-optimistic and unrealistic. Though, it is an important read.
