5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing version of an amazing classic!, April 28 2004
This book is based on Louis Cha's famous novel, "Return of the Condor Heroes". It is an excellent story full of interesting characters and martial arts.

This version is well drawn and written. I highly recommend it.

Please note that this is only one of many volumes. So far the first seven have been released as of today (4/04) which covers only about 1/4 - 1/3 of the original book.

Unfortunately, there are only a few ways that an English-only speaking person can enjoy this classic story. There is an older comic style version that is available in Singapore by Asiapac books. There is also a Japanese Anime version that is being subtitled in English. Thats about it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing poetry by an amazing man!, Mar 17 2004
This book was very special for me to read because Mike was such a special guy. Wherever Mike went, he made people smile with is warmth and humor. Before Mike went to be with the Lord in 2003, he wrote many poems.

This book is a wonderful collection of his poems and they cover a wide range of emotions. You may laugh, smile, cry, and reflect as you read these poems. You will love this book!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not enough backstory!, Mar 8 2004
I love the X-Files, and I wanted to read more of the "backstory" of each episode.

Instead, most of the book is wasted on the synopses for each episode. Usually, 6 pages is wasted on the story summary, and only one page on the backstory.

We don't need 6 pages of story summary for each episode: we can watch that! Instead, give us more on the background!

5.0 out of 5 stars DVD set is a MUST for fans., Oct 22 2003
I've been waiting for this DVD set for years and it is great!
All the episodes are shown uncut and the quality is great.

There are tons (over 100 cut scenes/alternate scenes)from the episodes.

The commentary from Apollo, Starbuck, and Boomer on the first episode is fun to listen to, although I would have liked commentary on MORE EPISODES, especially LIVING LEGEND.

The bonus documentaries are pretty good, but I would have enjoyed more commentary from Glen Larson.

Overall, this DVD set is a must for fans. I would rate the DVD an A, and the bonus material a B.

5.0 out of 5 stars WELL WRITTEN AND PRACTICAL!, Jun 9 2003
This is a very well written book by a pastor with a strong ministry to senior adults.

I especially like it because it is full of practical and helpful ideas.

Dr. Dave gives great insight into all areas of ministry.

I highly recommend this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Soundtrack!, Dec 2 2001
This soundtrack is still my favorite soundtract even after all these years! The music is just amazing, being able to draw you into Tolkien's fantastic world. Highly recommended!!! (Even more than the movie in fact)

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but not perfect, Dec 18 2000
Its great to be able to watch the Moody Blues live and this DVD is amazing. The sound and graphic quality is superb. If you are a fan, go buy it!

2 things wrong that keeps this from getting 5 stars: 1) Its not a full concert, with a few notable songs cut out. 2) An unforgiveable edit of "Legend of the Mind" in which over a minute of music is cut out. Have no idea why they did that!
