One of the best Christian albums I have ever heard!, Mar 29 2013
Purchased this album on iTunes and felt compelled to write a review on Amazon because I just had to share how much I enjoy this album. Musically, this album is rock solid. And lyrically it's equally as good, if not better. Every time I listen to it I can't help but worship and bop my head at the same time haha; especially when songs like "Made Alive", "Hail the King", "Jesus", and "Sweetness of Freedom" come on. I seldom find an album where every song is just as fantastic as the next. You will not regret this purchase!

THE BEST GIFT FOR BABIES!, Aug 24 2010
I bought 5 of these boxes to give away as gifts. This box comes with so many fun learning tools for kids. Every mother I have given this box to loves it, and their kids love it. The best thing about this gift is that it grows with the baby. It includes a cloth book so kids cannot hurt themselves while playing with it or biting it. A bathtime book that is waterproof is also included; flashcards, teether and rattle book in one, and great board books for learning first words and even a touch and feel book with animals. I love this box of surprises! It doesn't get any better than this.

A film with a hidden agenda!, Mar 18 2010
I thought this would be a film about the Galapagos Islands, not a film about Charles Darwin and his crazy evolution theories! Yes, the scenery was breathtaking and some of the footage was incredible, but from the very beginning of the film when I started hearing words like "prehistoric" and was introduced to "the great Charles Darwin", I knew there was a hidden agenda. I thought it very convenient that they negleted to mention that when Darwin's book on the evolution theory was first published on November 24th, 1859 it was titled, "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life." For obvious reasons the title was later changed to "On the Origin of Species" in 1872. The truth is that there's a lot more to Charles Darwin and his evolution theory than we are led to believe or care to find out for ourselves. Hitler believed in Darwin's evolution theory, particularly the "Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life" part. We all know how that turned out--6 million Jews died during the Holocaust. Evolution is a lie. It promotes hatred, discrimination and opression, and degrades the human race. Darwin's erroneous statement that the weak and powerless need to be oppressed, backed up by his unscientific theory, is one of the main factors behind the spread of inequality and injustice. For anyone interested in learning the truth about the evolution theory, I would highly recommend listening to a series by Dr. Kent Hovind called "Creation. Evolution. Dinosaurs." a.k.a. "Creation Seminar" You will be blown away, I guarantee it. You can buy it online at [...]

MY FAVOURITE CD RIGHT NOW!, Feb 28 2010
This CD was worth every penny! I love worshipping along with this CD and I play it for my kids when they're getting cranky because it helps calm them down. These young people are so annointed! I praise God for Hillsong and for the work He is doing in and through them. God bless them and everyone who hears their music.

Not quite the "Dragon Lady" I was expecting to meet, Feb 28 2010
Either Anna Wintour does a good job of hiding her true personality in this film, or she really isn't the "Dragon Lady" Meryl Streep portrays in "The Devil Wears Prada". That being said, I learned a lot about what goes on backstage and behind the scenes in the fashion world. I have a new-found appreciation for the people who work tirelessly to put together a magazine that I effortlessly flip through when I get it in the mail.

WELL DONE!, Feb 28 2010
I gave this film 5 stars because I thoroughly enjoyed it. It covered the most interesting and exciting areas of his life as a designer and millionare. I have a new apprecitation for his work after watching this film. Unlike Karl Lagerfeld's "Lagerfeld Confidential", this movie was filmed well and the content was much more enjoyable.

DISAPPOINTMENT!, Feb 28 2010
I was expecting a lot more from this film... I found it to be more about Lagerfeld's philosophy on life than it was about his life and role as creative director for Chanel. It was very low budget, unlike "Valentino: The Last Emperor" which I would recommend over this film any day!

BEST STORYBOOK and CDs FOR KIDS!, Dec 19 2009
I ordered only the book at first, but when I realized it came in a deluxe edition I knew I had to get it for my kids! The storybook is WONDERFUL, of course, and the CDs are nice to have in case the kids want to read along with the narrator insead of reading it or being read to. I would definitely recommend this edition. I was listening to the first CD last night and found myself getting teary-eyed when the narrator talked about God's great love for us. A must-have for all Christian parents who want to teach their kids about "the greatest love story".

Creepy Characters are not for everybody, and definitely not for me!, Dec 19 2009
I bought this book because it was recommended to me. After looking through it however, I knew it was a mistake. My daughter loves to learn the names of things in her books, but this book if full of creepy little monsters--some with one eye and some with three. I don't want to try and explain what monsters are or why they have so many or so few eyes. There are much more pleasant (and less creepy) children's books about numbers. The ONE thing I did like about this book is that the numbers are taught in the proper order (1-10) and not backwards like other books.

Not the best "First Bible", Dec 19 2009
I bought this Bible for my 20 month old daughter and I was a bit disappointed. The pictures, in my opinion, are lacking energy and are not suitable for very young children like my daughter because they're not bright or colourful. The stories are a bit too long to keep the attention of my daughter and since the pictures are quite boring to look at she won't sit through even one story. I wouldn't recommend this Bible as a child's "first", I would probably recommend "Baby's first Bible" (boardbook) by Reader's Digest and illustrated by Colin and Loira MacLean; I believe the author is Sally Lloyd-Jones (love her).
