I was extremely pleased with my previous order through amazon until now. I ordered this on Jan 2 during a special offer and the order went through, no indication that this was no longer in stock. Heck i even think they charged my credit card for it!

It is March 16, still hasn't shipped. I'm no idiot, I know very well they ran out of stock, so they took more orders than they had stock?

If Amazon truly watns to maintain its stellar reputation, I expect Amazon to ship me my order for the price I paid for it, regardless of whether "special" copies are available.
