Having grown up on '60's rock, I find The Byrds were the quintessential sound of all that was rock and folk. Cliche, I know, but that 12 string sound of McGuinn was and still is one of the most recognizable sounds ( outside of any Santana riff) that a guitar has ever made. Some songs were fun ( Mr. Spaceman ) and others tugged at the heart ( She Don't Care About Time); others philosophical and soul searching like my Back Pages (thank-you Mr. Dylan). Always a pleasure to listen to.

I discovered this book last Christmas and was fortunate to meet the author at the book signing. Being in the wine tourism industry myself, I found Tanyas' book most entertaining.
A selection of wine labels from around the world and their anecdotal origins, makes for a delightful read. Wonderful artwork from international wineries are themselves, most interesting.

Recently purchased the Le Pan 970 touch google Android Tablet : great bang for the buck.
Not being overly electronically enlightened - I wanted something bigger than a phone for internet access - basic surfing on the go: basic quick availability for info on the go for my job. Le Pan at 1/2 the price of an I - pad has not let me down. Wi-fi connects all over my home area; has not been a problem getting connected. Brilliant colours and clarity from the screen ( I am using a generic plastic screen protector for finger-print protection). Touch screen, virtual keyboards all very responsive. A friend with an Apple was quite impressed with my little toy - and he knows his electronic gadgets. Very happy with my purchase - perfect and then some, for my needs.
