5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Game. So good I'm playing it twice., Dec 9 2010
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Mass Effect 2 (Video Game)
This is an amazing game. Buy It! I finished it once and am now playing it again on Insanity... it's actually more fun the second time around because of the challenge. (A bit too easy on normal) Also a lot of the DLC is amazing. Can't wait for ME3.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enough to pass Security+, Dec 9 2010
I only read the Exam Guide and didn't even touch on the Review Guide or Street Smarts. But I passed this exam with 874/900. I also used Transcender and the questions from that really helped prepare me for the exam. I've also done the SANS Security Bootcamp SEC401 so much of that knowledge might've also helped... and I've been in the IT world for over a decade (just decided to do the exam because it was set for expiry in the new year)

Anyways... with all those resources I was easily able to pass Security+. I thought it was pretty indepth and covers the material for the exam well enough for you to pass... but I would supplement with Transcender or other testing suite just because I find when you're quizzed it helps focus and figure out what you know or don't know and trains you to start reciting a bit (like memorizing all those well known port numbers... when in the real world you would probably check google =P)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good enough to Pass, Dec 9 2010
I used the Exam Guide and the Review Guide along with Transcender and passed the exam with 867/900. The books themselves are probably enough to pass the exam, but I found having the questions from Transcender (which were much tougher than the actual exam) got me to think about what I learned. Many of the questions in the transcender set were things that didn't seem to have been touched on in this Certification kit. (Like going into depth about the DHCP lease offer process)... but like I said the ACTUAL Network+ exam was for me much easier than the Transcender... still it was worrisome that I had to do a bit of research on Google to find information that I didn't read from two books. The practice exams in the books were more similar to what was actually in the test(fairly straightforward and easy)... but it's always nice to over prepare.

I guess this is like a review of both this cert kit and the transcender. I didn't use the streetsmarts book... so maybe some of the info that I didn't find in the exam guide and review guide were actually in that book...
