This is a quality album, I really like Tern and many others. They keep putting out albums which is great and my only constructive criticism would be that they get back to some earthier, more colourful and nature based stuff and put some proper album art on to give things an extra bit of aesthetic. Still, it is a fine work from one of the greatest jazz bands of all time in my opinion.

Excellent!, Mar 10 2013
This DVD contains an incredible series of films featuring Alan Sloan's insightful teachings on mindfulness and authenticity. It is both a highly valuable resource and very enjoyable to watch. Alan is so warm, genuine, positive and wise, not to mention one of the worlds leading executive consultants, that this film really invigorates the courageous and authentic, clear seeing leader in all of us. Excellent!

Hidden Classic, Jan 9 2013
For a fan of the albums on five years of either side of this point in the band's career not to find anything to like here is beyond me. Salamander is one of their best songs in my opinion. It is a strange album but it works really well in places due mostly to the fact that they were an incredible band at that time. Hearing any of the players and better still all of them together at that time in their respective careers is well worth it. If you can get past the title track you find totally unique stuff such as like Pied Piper, the Chequered Flag and really high calibre guitar work throughout. Give it a listen!

Release the Vinyl, Jan 4 2013
Awesome to get the LP, hard to believe Bruce vinyl is being reprinted. This album is one of his best with several fine tunes which are nice to have on record. Now if only Salt, Sun and Time would get dual LP and CD with extra tracks re-release. Both are phenomenal!

Two of the finest albums of all time, with interesting extra songs added. Beltane is a great addition to Songs from the Wood. These classics are timeless and sound better than ever!

Excellent Canadian Horror, May 9 2012
Innovative, humorous and gory, this is in my opinion the finest horror related release in 2012. Basically the idea we have all pondered, who would win if the world's most fierce monsters squared off in death matches? Each combatant has a backstory depicted in a mixture of legend, innovation and comic relief. Artful acting by John Geddes and other all stars Robert Maillet and David Foley are further reasons to invest in Monster Brawl. A classic for the ages!

A great album, Mar 22 2011
Tiny Music and their second album are hard to top but this compares. Many of the musical aspects of their last album were enjoyable, overall it was off. Half of 'Four' was pure gold for example the songs Glide and Pruno but this album is a more complete work. Take a Load Off is genius. I hope to see another album some day.

Another worthwhile album, Mar 22 2011
Another solid effort from Bruce. Many instrumentals. Lyrically and musically I prefer more nature based themes from Cockburn but these remain very nice additions to this side of his catalogue. I wasn't that taken with his last album 'Life's Short Call Now' but this one is highly superior. Also reccommended are the brilliant 'Salt Sun and Time', 'Sunwheel Dance', 'In the Falling Dark' and 'Night Vision'.

A work of art, Aug 16 2010
Great remaster of a classic from start to finish. Dawn Dance and Bye Bye Idi are two of the best rare tracks on the new remaster discs. I'm still waiting to see Night Vision, Salt Sun and Time and Joy Will Find a Way given similar treatment but they are off to a great start.
