The story was a bit predictable but so well done. It wasn't a nail biter but kept one interested without gunfire, sex, nudity or violence of any kind but still really makes one realize that racial prejudice is alive and well even today. Even though his name was what marked him a " minority " I am a visible 75 year old minority and still encounter prejudice regularly and always by white people who seem to think it is their right to " inquire " !!! Think about it.

I was so happy to get this movie as I remember well when the original and real Mr. Straight took his lawnmower journey. I caught the movie on TV a couple years ago and wanted to buy the movie to share with friends. Even though it was " slow moving " it told a lot. It is nice to know that Lyle recovered and went back to live out his life with Alvin. While the journey took him six weeks I would have liked to know how they got back to Alvin's home.

Not very believable but I still ( and I'm 75 ) believe in Santa. I wanted Doris Roberts to say " Are You Hungry, Dear? " to someone. No matter, still good. I know lots of people who would llke to watch it. A lot like Home By Christmas, as we all like happy endings.

The handle looks unbalanced in relation to the blade, but it fact it isn't. I also bought one for my son for a Christmas present. He is a good cook and appreciates good knives etc. We both have Wustof's in blocks and make good use of them. However, the Fieri knife doesn't fit but no matter. The blade guard is a good idea if you don't have magnetic holders.

I've had this album on cassette tape for years and was so happy to find it at Amazon in CD. All the songs tell such a nice, sad or funny story. Also, you can understand every word. Such a remarkable group.

I saw this movie on TV and just had to buy the DVD to share with others as its such a lovely story. Sure enough Amazon came thru again for me. Sean Penn did such a remarkable job.

I've had this on cassette tape for years as my other car didn't have a CD player, so I was very happy to find it on CD for my new car. This lively type of music keeps me alert on long trips. Thanx Amazon!!

MY DOCTOR RECOMMENDED A BALL TO HELP STRENGTHEN MY BACK MUSCLES. THIS BALL WORKS JUST FINE. I JUST SIT ON IT ONCE A DAY FOR 1/2 AN HOUR WHILE I READ AND REPLY TO E MAILS A/O LOOK UP SOMETHING. AS IT IS NOT WEIGHTED YOU REALLY HAVE TO WORK YOUR LEGS AND BACK MUSCLES SO ITS PERFECT.

John Grisham at his best again. I really appreciate that I don't have to keep a dictionary at my elbow.

I am a senior lady and I so enjoyed watching this series and couldn't wait for the next episode. So many interesting facts and figures. Imagine a play by play in Morse code!! It was so entertaining and informative that I bought the series as a Christmas gift for my son in law as he is a hockey buff. He and I have shared many a bottle of wine watching playoff games together and I sure hope he enjoys this series as much as I did.
