With cute humour and plenty of magic,Levine tells the tale of 2 sisters,one nice,one selfish.A well-meaning fairy gives the nice sis a 'gift'....She will spew diamonds from her mouth every time she speaks.But this so-called blessing causes everyone to take advantage!The nasty sister is 'punished' by being enchanted to spew out insects every time she speaks(it's a good book,honestly.)But her punishment turns into something she enjoys as she uses it to her own advantage to terrorize others.It's actually not a gross book,My review is grosser than the book.It is a charming read as is The Princess Test.

Gail Carson Levine creates a gently funny,and fun,tale of magic in the Princess Test,a book I recommend to females of all ages.It is a recreation of the Princess and the Pea.
Lorelei is a pampered but very sweet-hearted young girl and she becomes involved in a Princess Test to determine who will marry the prince of their enchanted town.She also has to endure quite a few other hiccups(oh,and rashes and sore throats and fevers!!!!!) ,as her somewhat finnicky nature makes people detest her,most namely her new nanny who plans to kill her.Preferably by taking her into the woods and leaving her there.Carson Levine likes to blend fairy tales together.Read Ella Enchantment for an amazing fantasy adventure.

2 cousins(It is sooooooooooo twisted and gross that she had the hots for him)fall down a well and travel back in time to a castle that really exists.Don't ask me to remember it's name."The Hand" was a carving of a hand near the well.

By the way,...the girl on the cover was sooooo pretty,i couldn't believe it.

Whatsisnames friend Aaron is a computer genius who has discovered a way to travel time with the use of the school computers.The 1st half of the book was interesting but the 2nd half not as great.It's Okay though,worth a look.

Well,it is a Babysitters Club book,but it really isn't worthy of this great series.Years ago I read my first,and what would be my final for a long time,BSC.This one.I don't recommend that Jessi and the Superbrat be your first BSC or else you will not understand what a terrific series this is.Because this novel,is really average compared to BSC standard.

This isn't one of the best BSCs in my opinion but it's still cool as they all are.Stacey and Mary Anne are having a great beach vacation as Mothers Helpers for the peculiar Pike Family.I really love the Pikes.Who wouldn't be in that family!!?

The first in a series I recommend!Bsc is a fantastic series with lots going on and plenty characters coming and going.It could never be boring.Ann Martin will become a role model to me as I try to forge my path in writing....There is a problem though.The same things about the club will be explained at the start of every book in the same detail each time.Like,do you think that maybe Kristy once saw her mother on the phone trying to get a sitter for little David and then thought wouldn't it be great if mothers could ring up and speak to lots of sitters and then she got the idea of the Babysitters Club..???????You will be told all about this in almost every book!!But really should I complain??Put up with that repetition and ,honestly, it's a terrific series,and you'll always wonder what will happen next.

A 1950's novel by popular YA author Beverly Cleary which while a tiny bit daggy is also a page turner.Cleary took a very simple situation....a 15 year old girl gets her first boyfriend...and turns it into a long and extremely interesting story.

Uh-oh.A group of girls are trying to compete with the Babysitter's Club!By starting up a Babysitter's Agency.Also,Stacey is being sent to many doctors,as her parents aren't coping with her illness half as well as SHE is!
