"Destiny's Hands" lets the reader experience Israel's release from slavery in Egypt and a portion of their journey as Moses leads them toward Canaan. We travel with Bezalel, a gifted carver and goldsmith. I loved the way this character and others whom we know little about in the Bible account come to life in the novel. The culmination of Bezalel's personal and spiritual journeys with all their challenges is inspiring and encouraging particularly for readers desiring to discover the best use of their creative abilities.
I've been looking forward to this sequel to "One Smooth Stone". "A Tumbled Stone" was worth the wait. I was drawn into the struggles of Alex, his sister and her foster parents as each grappled with becoming free to express and receive the love everyone longs for. What each character copes with on this quest makes for a totally satisfying "page-turner".
