My copy arrived today. I read all I could before ordering. My price delivered was
great! A seller right here in Canada (for a change) has/had the best price. Less
than $15 for the CD/DVD version. With Scott from "Tin Lizzy" in the line-up....it's
obvious there will be similarities to the original. On first listen the emulation of Phil
is clear on tracks 2, 3 and 4. It's no surprise! Sounds like "Bar- Band" music to me....
Sound is great....2013 tech....clean/solid bottom end....Packaging and graphics A-1....

Great disc! Hard to find but I now have my copy in transit....
Had this back when it was released and lost/sold that copy so
I'm happy to get a used one for less that $20. New ones are out
there but not too many....SO if you want a fantastic Acid Jazz
style party disc....snap one up ASAP. Worth every cent.....

I was hip to Matt back in '84 when this was released. As this is the
starting point of the band....this one's really worth it! I own a copy
and just today I ordered another. The price has dropped and for about
10 clams I can pass this on as a gift! The latest CD without Basia is
great too. In other words....they've still got it! Next year is the 30th.
Why don't they remaster/re-release this.....I'd bite! For now....this will
have to do....Go ahead.....Add To Cart....

I bought this from the American Amazon.....It's bad.....
I just can't stand this audio mistake. Sound and song
construction is....the dog's breakfast! Did I mention
how bad this is?....Take a major pass...not worth it....

This looks a good deal.....It appears to be a reissue of
a box from the past. The Legacy label is attached so I feel
a little more comfortable. Truth be told, the fact that this
is a Sony product "Made in Poland" for about $20 delivered....
Well it may not be a Red Flag but maybe a Yellow Flag....UPDATE
will be honest and objective!

I await this disc I've never heard.....I'm one of the biggest Gregg fans and
as we all know he has a great history....60's Santana...70's Journey....When
this arrives I will listen and report the sonics etc. in my UPDATE...JUNE 11th
My copy arrived today and I discovered it's a bunch of old Santana Band songs
done again, plus some reworkings of songs from the "Roots" CD. This sucker is
recorded LOUD! I can only offer 3 Stars. Not my best purchase....not my worst!

I love a good "Climax".....I've got a stable of CBB remasters in the collection. I don't know anything about this title but I ordered it and will UPDATE....June 17th.. Great remastering job! "Rep" comes through again! Some of this is quite commercial but I still enjoyed it.....I paid a premium for this one title. Most of the recent (2012) re-issues cost about $11 or less delivered. The albums out this year on another label are closer to $15 each. Still worth it!

Had to go to the U.K. for a decent price....I checked downtown TO
and the price w/tax was $20 clams more than online. Watcha gonna do?
I will wait for this "Esoteric" remaster to arrive...JUNE 13th UPDATE
Got it and it sounds good! The mastering is about as good as this will
ever get. Do you get it? If you want FM...this is the version to own....
I'm not familiar with their other albums, I only know "Black Noise".....

This was dinner music back in the day for our crew....
I had the vinyl. Early smooth jazz. Not my favourite....
Ramsey has another album..."Routes"....that one's worth it!
The price for a used copy got me to tumble....delivered $3.50

Not bad sound for a 1974 recording. Turns out this pressing was
originally a Japanese imprint transferred from the original tape.
The jazz/funk sound is well done on some cuts and the early synth
work is just that....early! The guest vocals (Earth, Wind and Fire)
on the title track, Sun Goddess are quite good. For the money I paid
this one is worth it too!

Finally, I tracked this down today....my copy was shipped May 15th......
I'll return with the sonic UPDATE as soon as this baby hits my box.....
MAY 17th 2013.....Great remaster of this 1984 album. The sound is so well
balanced. Since this is loaded with "electronics" (Stanley Clarke on Linn
Drum Machine!)....you have to keep an open mind. The title track still sounds
fantastic to me. Funk all the way. Roy's vibraphone talent is stellar. Not
an instrument we hear very often, especially soloing like a guitar player....
If you feel like doing it "in the dark"....do it with this! It's worth it....
