This cd had me in awe from beginning to end. The riffs are fantastic, drums and bass are awesome, and the vocals kill. And adding even more to the atmosphere are the synths in the background. This cd is not overrated!!! This is a step into getting into more aggressive black metal.

This has been Dark Funeral's best work yet. All the songs are simply amazing. My two favorite tracks are An apprentice of satan and thus i have spoken. But all the rest are very good as well. I recommend this first. Then you can move on to Secrets and Vobiscum.

Very good cd. This is my favorite besides transilvanian hunger and under a funeral moon. All the songs are raw and fast. This cd is also very dark as they all praise satan and evil in every song. This is recommended for people who have been in this genre for awhile.

This cd is very interesting. You have to be listening to black metal at least a couple of years to know the genius work behind this. Really I don't think anyone just getting into this genre would like this. Or really any of thr "true Norweigan black metal". And believe me they are "true Norweigan black metal".
I give this only 4 stars cause it does get a little boring after a while.

All the songs are brutal as hell!! And if they slow down at all in a matter of seconds they will shred you to pieces!!

Every song crushes your eardrums on this one. Perfect for getting people riled up, i say. The songs are very heavy, the vocals are different than most death metal bands. They dont even try to say the words in the cookie monster voice, they just blur out what they can. But don't worry it sounds good. Every solo is amazing as well, pretty damn good.

I love this cd. It is very evil no matter what anyone says. This cd isnt as good as DI but its up there though. Plus there is too many songs about satan. Its not a bad thing but they can try something else.

This band was so amazing with Chris Barnes, they are still good, but not like they were. This cd amazes me of how badass everybody is vocals, drums, bass, guitar. This and tomb of the mutilated is their best work.

This cd is completely horrible!! All the songs are not catchy or have any good riffs what so ever. The only good song is Magic. And even that gets tired really fast.

This cd pretty much is exactly like gore obsessed not musically, but how tiring it gets after awhile. i listened to it enough to give it a good chance. I love the cd, but after 6 or 7 times I really didnt want to listen to it anymore.
