5.0 out of 5 stars An inspirational guide for clueless entrepreneurs!, April 2 2003

Her trip to NY, the cravings for skinny lattes and foamy cappuccinos, the idea, the awful coffee in the UK or rather the lack of it, the business plan and finally the first shop in South Molton street! Read this book and you will discover that passion, enthusiasm, gut feeling, good timing, support and hard work will eventually pay off! Sahar and her brother Bobby are both millionaires, only eight years after the first Coffee Republic bar appeared in the market.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very bad, Feb. 26 2003
This review is from: The Celestine Prophecy (Paperback)
Commercial, uninspiring and really bad. I don't understand why this book was such a success. I read many many books of self-development, this is the only one I won't recommend you. If you really want to read about New Age "stuff", look elsewhere. You can actually write a better book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Your spiritual guide to clearing space, Feb. 26 2003
Clear your clutter with Feng Shui" by de-cluttering specialist Karen Kingston is a must-have book if you are in the process of clearing your space. The book is short and concise, however, very detailed and well written. KK explains what clutter is, why we have it and why is not good for us. She identifies clutter in various areas of the house/office and suggests innovative ways of ditching it for good! In addition, for those who know about Feng Shui, she recommends decluttering based on the Bagua map. Very good book indeed and happy clearing!

Sietar unfolds a way to use our inborn "spiritual intelligence" to see the world and everything in it as a potential mentor - not only are humans beings our mentors, but books, articles, songs, nature and silence as well. Mentors are the artists of encouragement.

Simplify Your Life: 100 Ways to Slow Down and Enjoy the Things That Really Matter
by Elaine St. James
Edition: Paperback
124 used & new from CDN$ 0.01

3.0 out of 5 stars Too simple, Jan. 26 2003
Great but common sense ideas to simplify your life. Without any doubt. Are they all needed though?
The first time you read it, you will start asking yourself if you can actually implement all these changes to your daily life. You will even think that they are extreme.
I won't disagree. Simplifying life is a long term process that will require preparation, determination and decluttering. However, this process should allow you to still remain in "the real world". Being able to lead a simplified life and be a part of the world is a real success.
