1.0 out of 5 stars worst war movie i've ever seen. QUITE BORING, Feb 25 2003
Maybe this film is supposed to be deep or what have you. I don't even get how they try to accomplish that. This film is full of bad acting, lame dialogue, and absolutely no plot. I saw a "the making of. . ." once and sean penn (horrible acting) said that he was just making stuff up. It sure comes across like that, too. Not very well put together scriptwise, either. I made the mistake of seeing this film thinking it would be a great war movie like Patton or Platoon. Not the case.

5.0 out of 5 stars BOSTON IS BACK, Dec 21 2002
This review is from: Corporate America (Audio CD)
I really enjoyed most of this CD. 12st and 2nd tracks are true Boston. Amazing guitars remiscent of third stage album. It is nice to see that Boston has endured. I hope they tour again next summer like they did following their walk-on release in 1994. I highly recommend this CD. All songs are not the best. Corporate America title track is really bad among a few other bad songs but aren't most musical releases like that. Even Def leppard had a few bad ones. The good ones make up for it on this effort. "I had a good time" is one of the best Boston tunes ever.

1.0 out of 5 stars SLOW AND DULL, Dec 20 2002
This review is from: Killing Zoe (VHS Tape)
Film is a pulp fiction type. Very dull and slow in plot development. Bank robbery scene is compelling but also a tired retread. Bottom line is boredom. Not worth the time to watch. save yourself and skip this one. . .

1.0 out of 5 stars DON'T BE FOOLED/ EVERY EPISODE HAS A CAPTAIN, April 6 2000
This review is from: Star Trek Captains (VHS Tape)
THIS IS THE LAMEST COLLECTION OF EPISODES EVERY ASSEMBLED. "OBSESSION" RANKS AS ONE OF THE WORST EPISODES EVER MADE. IT IS RIGHT UP THERE WITH "THE APPLE" A BETTER CHOICE WOULD HAVE BEEN "ARENA" OR "THE ENTERPRISE INCIDENT" OR EVEN "WHOM GODS DESTROY" ( A GOOD ONE ) REGARDING TNG "GAMBIT" IS OKAY BUT I WOULD SUGGEST "BEST OF BOTH WORLDS" OR "CHAIN OF COMMAND" // THE DS9 AND VOYAGER EPISODES ARE NO BETTER. HOW CAN THEY EVEN QUALIFY THOSE SHOWS AS STAR TREK. VOYAGER IS ESPECIALLY BAD. WHO DOES JANEWAY THINK SHE IS KIDDING? IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED IN GOOD STAR TREK EPISODES I RECOMMEND ACQUIRING THEM INDIVIDUALLY. GOOD RECOMMENDATIONS INCLUDE TOS: ENTERPRISE INCIDENT; WHOM GODS DESTROY; MIRROR, MIRROR; WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE; AND A PIECE OF THE ACTION. TNG RECOMMENDATIONS: BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, THE PEGASUS, DESCENT I & II, Q WHO, AND ALL GOOD THINGS MUST END. I HAVE NO RECOMMENDATIONS FOR VOYAGER OR DS9. YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A WEAK SHOW WHEN YOU HAVE TO COPY THE OLD STAR TREK (TRIBBLES) TO MAKE DECENT RATINGS. VOYAGER NEEDS TO BE CANCELED ASAP. IN SUMMARY PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE THIS COLLECTION. YOU'LL BE SORRY IF YOU DO . . .

5.0 out of 5 stars TOP NOTCH, Feb 18 2000
This is certainly one of the more enjoyable episodes of Star Trek. This premise of a bitter, veangeful female is still with us in society today (30 years later). William Shatner does an excellent acting job in this one. I recommend this episode over many. It is, indeed, in the top twenty episodes. Please use this review in conjunction with others and it will make more sense.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE ULTIMATE SCARE, Aug 13 1999
This review is from: Ghost Story (VHS Tape)
This movie is one of the most intellectually scary movies I have ever seen. Ghost Story and The Changeling (with George C. Scott) rival one another for best scary movie ever. The acting is top-notch; John Houseman is superb, Fred Astaire is also very good. The plot is easy to follow and mesches well with the excellent acting that was directed by John Irvin. This movie is truly one of a kind and frightfully scary. It is not as well known as it should be.
