I am another person who is a big fan of the original movie from 1982, so i was hestitant to watch this movie because of preconvieved notions in my mind.

After watching the movie i thought it was pretty good, although i thought some of the special effects just didnt look right, for example, the sander/thing creature near the end. Some of the special effects were pretty good.

But the problem with this movie is that it cant be seperated from the movie from 1982 and there is a total continuity flaw concerning the UFO.

After watching the movie again, i still thought it was good and next time i watch it i will listen to the directors commentary track because there must be some reason for such a continuity error.

I have even thought they (( yes the legendary THEY )) could make another movie concerning the thing cuz for all we really know 2 ships crashed.

I liked this book and i do not find it hard to belive that there was once an ancient civilization on earth and i dont find it hard to belive they had flying machines.

And you have to remember that if someone came up with a revolutionary idea, like the cure for cancer, it would be supressed, ridiculed and denied. You cant go around upsetting the status quo and that is what a book like this does to traditional conservative orthodox thinking.

If you are still a student in school, get this book and drive your teacher crazy, they will shake thier heads in disbelief when you start talking about ancient and lost cities in north and central america.

Tell them about ancient egyptians and phoenicans and chinese and romans and vikings and welsh, and ancients from everywhere else in the world who arrived in the americas before columbus.

Blow your poor teachers mind and watch them melt down in the classroom as they are offered undeniable proof of previous civilizations in north and central america.

Be it talking about california, florida, arizona, the great lakes, canada, central america, your teacher will buckle under and expose their ignorance and they will start to spout out old and tired orthodox conservative statements and theories while ignoring obvious paradoxes and actual history.

This book is pretty good, i must admit that i was hesitant to read it because marge is a no fun wet blanket with no real sense of humour.

BUT the book itself was pretty funny with funny drawings to, helped along by the cast of springfield, i guess the best way to describe this is that its a simpsons book, so if you like the simpsons you'll like it.

The blu ray transfer is terrific and the picture quality is very good. I dont know how i first stumbled across this movie but i'm glad i did and i've watched it many times over many years.

I often think that this story is true to a certain degree and i wouldnt be surprised if it was. In fact this might be one of the best movies ever made, hows that for praise ???

FIVE STARS

This is good stuff and if you think its not going to be five star material you are definitely not experienced, have you ever been experienced well i am.

And you stuck up snobby soulless audiophiles just need to seriously relax.

This album is good follow up to the west coast seattle boy anthology and for those who are still looking for more " NEW " Hendrix music.

In fact this album would fit in quite well in a listening session containing,First rays of the new rising sun, South Saturn Delta, and Jimi Hendrix Blues

White collared conservative flashing down the street, pointing thier plastic finger at me, they're hoping my kind will drop and die, but i'm gonna wave my freak flag, high !!!

This book is pretty good but it just doesnt reach the heights of a five star book because even though wiggums is a dimwitted lazy pig, hes just not a natural comedian like other simpsons characters, theres nothing wrong with this book, it has has good jokes and funny pictures, but it could have used some more hippy baiting jokes.

All i can say is, wow bring on the sequel.

Theres other reviews who can do more justice to this movie than me but i'm hoping for a sequel.

And some of the slow motion scences are just mindboggling, they're like miniature symphonies of film.

I have waited a long time to see this movie, last time was on an old grainy VHS tape in 1987. But here they entice me was a blu ray disc and like a fool on the hill i get it and i put it in my PS3 and they PS3 says i need a product upgrade code to watch it. One day i will get the code that allows me to watch this blu ray disc but in the meantime its just worthless. Why is a PS3 and a blu ray so complicated???

And after finally watching this travesty of a movie, i just have to say its not very good, sure it looks good on blu ray and some of the musical numbers are interesting from a historical point of view, but overall its terrible. The best thing about this show is the blonde haired girl on the bus, so maybe it gets one a a half stars?

This book gives great insight into the mind of MOE, but you dont really get to know him on a personal level which is good, this is more like a simpsons episode with MOE as the starring character from start to end.

This is the most adult of the books in this simpsons series of books so dont get it for young children. Its funny but tragic and maybe some would say pitiful and desperate.

And if you are a boozer this book is made for you.
