This is a great GPS for the money. The 5 inch screen is very clear and the auto night feature is helpful. It has only 2 gig of storage, so the trick with this device is to manage the space like any external (jump) drive. Found out the hard way, when downloading the maps, laptop went into sleep mode and GPS device did not get the whole file. Device would not acknowlege maps and would not accept new file. Checked the website for support, and stumbled upon fact you can use your laptop (desktop) "my computer" program to access the files. Located map sub-directory and deleted files. Then was able to reload maps through TomTom Home program. Will need to continue manging space as the free map updates last until there is sufficient space - just store everything extra (voices, graphics)on your laptop and add when needed.
