2.0 out of 5 stars Not what i was expecting!, Nov. 9 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Have to say...im a bit disappointed in this box. I also have a couple Mygica boxes but figured it was time to upgrade to the G-Box. Well it has been nothing but headaches. constant crashes no matter what firmware i put on it!
This box was earmarked to be my 'main' streaming device but it now looks like it will be relegated to a less watched TV.

PROS and CONS vs Mygica 520E

PRO
-seems to stream better (less buffering)
-better picture quality (stated anyways)
-faster processor speeds

Con
-more expensive
-not very stable-constant crashes

4.0 out of 5 stars very functional, Jan. 10 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
received it very quickly.
the de-gassing odour was unbearable the first several days but now its okay.
at first glance i felt it would not last very long since its not real leather etc (i knew this going in) but about a month in and its holding up strong and i am constantly using my phone.
The only negative is how tight the pockets are...can only fit one card in each without stressing the pocket and potentially ripping it.
apart from this it is very functional....and for the price, it cant be beat! Love it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not so simple if you intend to use away from home., Feb. 27 2012
My first IP camera....became very frustrated with getting it to work remotely (being able to view it away from home)- see cons below. Eventually gave up.
It is now being used as a expensive baby monitor (on my LAN).

Pros:
compact
well built
decent image
easy set up of LAN communication including wifi
price

Cons:
A real pain to set up to work/view remotely
Must use a dns service for work around to having a dynamic IP address
Unable to make it work if you use a dns service other than the one the camera has in its drop down menu (DYNDNS) (in its software)
low resolution image but acceptable for the price
