I watched three of the collection tapes of Johnny Carson's best comedy moments and I laughed so hard I nearly suffered a headache.The comedy skits he performed are the best and there will be no other person who can match Carson's routines.He is not only the king of late night comedy,he is the founder and architect.Although he is gone,his work still lives on on video.Many up and coming comedians should learn not only how to craft their skills by learning from Carson,but the legends who appeared on his show.

The work on the soundtrack and animation was great.My biggest problem was if Batgirl was kidnapped,why she didn't use her skills to escape if she was seen beating up the attackers of the girl earlier in the video.Or,she didn't carry a two-way radio with a homing device to call for help.And the people didn't help Robin fight Mr Freeze,and how could he walk passed a lot of people with the two bears?The other parts of the movie was okay.

I just received news that the new Battlestar Galactica series will NOT have the space battle scenes involving the Colonial Empire and the Cylons.In fact,the Cylons may not be seen at all.EXCUSE ME?The space battle scenes in the original series is what drew in the fanbase and now Mr Moore is destroying the main storyline.Attention Glen Larson,please come back and take control of your creation before it sinks like the Titanic.I am working on my own space war epic and there are space battle scenes and other confrontations between the heroes and the bad guys the fans will enjoy.I may join the millions of fans in sticking to the original,or if I win the billion dollars in the Pepsi Cola contest,I will try to buy the rights of Galactica and keep it the way it was.

I was wondering why some of the top writers always mentioned being inspired by Mario Puzo.When I watch his work on the screen play version of the first two Superman movies and the Godfather series I see why.I did not like the Last Don.Now that Mario Puzo is no longer around ,I hope his works will inspire writers to carry on his legacy.

I hadn't read the book but the movie was great.I like The Betsy and The Carpetbaggers even better.A friend told me to read The Stallion,I plan to buy it in paperback soon.But I like the film versions better.

I heard a lot of good things about the movie,but when I saw it for the first time,I hated it.The acting was boring,I had to hit the fast forward button several times in order to find a good scene in the movie.Patrick Stewart was better in Excalibur,Star Trek,and the X-Men series,but Dune,NO.I am a big fan of the Police,and Sting.But his acting was not good in the movie.Kyle Maclachlan's character and acting was awful and so was his hairstyle.The only stars in the movie who were good were Sian Phillips and Max Von Sydov.He was good as Ming the Merciless in the Flash Gordon movie,Phillips was good as the Reverend Mother and in the Aristocrats.She deserve a better script.High marks do go for the special effects,costumes and props,but the acting and storyline didn't work.Perhaps many were cast in the wrong roles,or shouldn't be in the movie.I dozed off a couple of times.The two hours and fifteen minutes of the movie was B-O-R-I-N-G.I'm also still confused about the plot dealing with the giant worm.In closing the movie shouldn't be called DUNE.it should be called D-O-O-M.

I am a very big fan of John Williams' work and I watched just about every show he did on Evening at Pops on PBS.He is a master at creating the best movie soundtracks.I mentioned in an early review about me working on my own sci-fi space war epic,when it is picked up by one of the major film studios,I want John Williams at the top of my list to create the music.

I like the movie and the cast was great.But if I was writing the story I would have the lesbian scene steamed up even more and Melina Mercouri's character stalking Deborah Raffin's character.I am sadden the Jacqueline Susann is no longer with us but her good works live on.

The movie was good,but what made me sad was Richard Gere's character killing Diane Lane's lover's character.When I was watching this movie I was rooting for Diane Lane's character more than anyone else and I wished the affair wasn't found out.I had watched love movies in which the one having the affair is never caught.One movie is a foreign flick,The Key which was great.I give this movie a good grade but I wished the plot was different.

Being African-American,I was told by one of my best white friends to see this movie.I watched it when it came on TV the first time and I sat through the entire three hours.The movie was well written and acted.But the story was so powerful the impact stayed with me for nearly a week.I felt like I was hit by every speeding train and 18 wheeler on this world.If you are a parent and don't want to teach your child racism,W-A-T-C-H T-H-I-S M-O-V-I-E.Better yet,have your child watch this movie and tell them the truth about the history of what story the movie is telling and those whose lives were impacted by this event.
