Good grip, cheap, great value, reasonable protection., Mar 18 2013
Matches well, and offers reasonable protection without any bulk. It has a cheap appearance, but it is actually cheap, so it is to be expected. Good grip on the sides. Excellent value for the money.

excellent value, Feb 25 2013
For the money is a really good value. It took printing some 10 pages to give up on the smudges, but now it seems to print quite flawlessly. Will see what kind of life time can get out of it.

Small size for my hands and bbq., Jan 9 2013
That's pretty much all there is to it. The brush itself is fine, but the handle is quite short. It looks and feels nice, being wood, but another 10 cm of handle would have helped. Good if you have a smaller bbq, or not that much storage space.

Pretty good for the price, July 26 2012
You get what you pay for... For $3 is pretty much what I expected. The light is very cool - which is to be expected with cheap leds. Just find a way to prop it up - it is way too heavy to stay up just from the friction created by the usb plug.

Perfect for HTPC, Jun 20 2012
Perfect for my combination of XP and a Harmony remote - I discarded the included remote and use only the sensor, works flawlessly with XP, I inserted it in the USB before booting and it worked from the first try. I set my Harmony to Chinavasion CVSB 983 as another reviewer mentioned, works no problems. In order to have the remote power on/off the PC in XP, in Power Management in Control Panel I set the power button to "Put the PC on Stand By" and in System->Device Manager->Mice I found the device and again in Power management I enabled "Allow this device to wake the PC from stand by". The only annoying little detail wass the flashing blue light on the face of the case when the PC was in stand by - I stuck a piece of black electrical tape on top of it, blends flawlessly with the case design and renders the case lights invisible. This is probably the best thing one can add to an HTPC rig in terms of value per money spent.

plug and play, May 7 2012
the apogee of plug and play - just plugged it into the wall, the time set itself, everybody happy, no bothers. Big digits, easily visible. I would have preferred red instead of green, but it looks good enough. I'll probably buy one more for other rooms in the house, too.

My son is very interested in this book, May 2 2012
My son is 8 and he is reading these books by himself - mostly, as i try to read with him at bedtime at least some nights, because I am interested in reading the books myself. They are well written for a young audience and he has no problem understanding - he does ask my about a word once in a while, but he is mostly fine by himself. The author tries to include every civilisation and mostly succeeds. All in all, a good primer on world history for a young mind. we will move shortly to the next volume.

Does its job well, Dec 14 2011
Does what it is supposed to, I did not manage to run it out of juice yet. I only used it through some 10 cycles though, so I can say a thing about its longevity.

My son loves these little books, Jun 20 2011
My son is seven and I have been looking for some books to start him on reading multi-chapter books by himself - something not too log, not too short and able to get and keep him interested. It seems these book did the trick, he loves them and I am going to get him some more from the series.

Not what I expected., Dec 29 2010
Not what I was hoping for. I was expecting more a study of 20th century history and less on the dry listing of historical facts. Unfortunately, the book doesn't deliver. Way too many historical facts and dates and too little analysis or interpretation. Otherwise, interesting, and I found out some facts I wasn't aware of.
