Blast from the past meets beautiful harmonies, April 22 2012
Fantastic CD! I have always loved Wilson Phillips' harmonies, and having them revisit the best harmonies of the 60's (and their parents) is really a double bonus. Best track is Dedicated To The One I Love. The appearance of Owen Elliott (Mama Cass's daughter) gave me shivers. She sounds very much like her mom. All in all, a great CD.

I was looking for more..., July 10 2009
While I was hoping this would be THE kettlebell book, it just didn't live up to the hype. Lots of writing, some photos, but not enough (in my opinion) to give a beginner a really good foundation in kettlebell moves, proper form, etc. Perhaps better for an experienced user to keep boredom at bay. I would recommend Body Strong Kettlebell Blitz For Beginners over this book.

Straight forward, no gimmicks, good workout, July 10 2009
I was impressed by the simplicity of this book. For a beginner, you have good picture and word descriptions of each move. Once you get comfortable with each move, you begin the program itself, which starts off with 30 second 'sets' of each move, usually in combinations of 4 moves, with 30 second breaks after each combination. Sounds easy....it's not. You definitely know you've had a full body workout. :)

Well written and not sensationalized, Jun 17 2009
I was very impressed when I got this book and quickly fell into the life of Melissa Gilbert. Fairy dust aside, it's a good look at her life, without too much dishing, dissing and disguising. I could hear her in my head as I read the book. This is not a trash piece. It's well written, well thought out, and honest about the less perfect aspects of life as "Half Pint".

Uncommon Common Sense, May 11 2009
Truly, if you really want to lose weight, get this book and have a good dose of reality. Calories in vs calories worked off. It's that simple...and statistically proven. All those other books are just so much smoke and mirror.

Anthony Brings Linehan Back Into Our Homes, Jan 19 2008
Having always been a huge Linehan enthusiast, I was excited to purchase this book and find out who Brian really was. I was very pleased to find that my personal observations of him were on the mark, as was my expectation of who he was off-screen....brilliant, funny, arrogant, annoying, fragile and complicated. Reading these pages, I laughed, got mad, rolled my eyes...and cried. From the first page, I was drawn into Brian's life and experienced him through his friends' eyes. He wasn't perfect, but he was stellar. I don't think there is an interviewer in history as talented and thorough as Brian Linehan and I think he is still very much under appreciated. The vapid actor community of today would be no match for his razor sharp wit and in-depth knowledge. I wonder what Brian would have made of the 'big stars' of today, when comparing them to the truly brilliant thespians of yester-year. The final quarter of the book, however, was what brought it all home to me. This book is about Brian Linehan, shown through the love and support he inspired in his friends. Brian wanted to be noted, talked about, recognized, lauded... He was, and is. Whether he realized it or not, and whether any of his detractors choose to admit it, he is the best there was, the best there is, and quite possibly the best there ever will be. Thank you, George Anthony, for writing The Book.
