1.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating for 2+, Feb. 27 2010
Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
My gf was VERY excited to have me play this game with her, seeing as I'd never played a Mario game. We are both very disappointed and frustrated with the gameplay. Two players cannot play this game without a LOT of patience and cooperation.

The game is EXTREMELY frustrating just getting through the levels together, let alone trying to collect coins and accomplish goals. I couldn't imagine 4 players playing it together.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly well organized., Oct. 24 2009
To reiterate, the book is incredibly well organized. Alton Brown is a well-tuned master of the culinary/entertainment arts. The book reflects back on the first 6 seasons of his show Good Eats. It enhances or alters some of the recipes and ideas from the show and has added some new ones.

The book references other parts of itself very smoothly. The behind the scenes quips, stories, and tips are worth the price of admission alone.

If Alton seems like he is a man who is full of himself ... he has every right to be.

Can't wait for the second book.

3.0 out of 5 stars A letdown, July 3 2008
The first reviewer was right; not a lot of bang for the buck. It's more of a sappy love story the further the plot progresses. Not to mention that the DVD itself comes in a cardboard case, rather than a traditional plastic one, allowing for the inevitable bends and creases due to standard delivery practices. As a lover of Futurama, I HAD to get this to add to my collection, but, in the future, I hope they try to focus more on the comedy.
