5.0 out of 5 stars Great Version, Oct. 17 2012

This review is from: Tao te Ching (Paperback)
Like others have said, if you want a version that is not an interpretation, but instead takes a literal approach to translation, this is the book for you. It gives you the chance to make your own interpretation of the words you are reading and not being restricted by the translator. This book is also very scholarly - lots of notes in it about different translations for words and commentary.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good game but disks out of place, Oct. 17 2012
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars

Well, the game is great - and what's nice about this version is that it actually includes the expansion pack with it. Anyone who can appreciate older games will love Alpha Centauri. It's fun and there's a lot to do - it takes a long time to get bored of it. Newer games are too preoccupied with graphics instead of focusing on making good quality games.
The bundle I got had the disks dislodged. I'm not sure if that happened during the shipment, but I do wish that stores would check to see if anything is jiggling around inside before they ship something. Luckily the disks were not badly scratched, because they often can get very scratched up this way.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must for Teachers, Dec 25 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
For anyone who thinks that outdated discipline practices (for example, a heavy reliance on consequences, especially punishment) are the the way to go for helping challenging kids, you'll think differently after reading this book. It will change the way you view children's problems and also change the way you treat them. This shows you effective ways of how to help challenging kids with their lagging skills and unsolved problems. A must read for teachers!
