Not as good as Cosmic Overdose, May 26 2004
Cosmic Overdose had released two fantastic albums in Sweden, then changed and became Twice a Man. While now the progression is logical, at the time it was a major disappointment. Gone were the hard electronic drones and electric guitars of the "space punks" (as they were called back then. What was left was this, a very light, ambient sound, somewhat in advance of everything else, but very disapponting at the time. They would go on further down this road and produce some very beautiful electronic music, which is rather unknown. While this album is really very good, it still cannot replace what would have become of Cosmic Overdose, had they continued.

edmunds' best, May 25 2004
This is almost the definitive dave edmunds collection. It contains almost all you need. The almost faultsless Rockpile LP's are well represented and have aged splendidly.

Another Who compilation, May 24 2004
If I did not ave any other best of compilations by th Who, this would be great. The songs are very strong but they have been repackaged a bit too much. The new material is also better than on it's hard or face dances, but is less energetic than I thought it would be

The who are alright!, May 21 2004
Having seen the movie in the theatre, on VHS and Lasedisc, I expected somewhat more after having read all the raving reviews. The movie itself is great and I do not regret acquiring it. The Who were the greatest group of all time. However the second DVD is quite boring. I do not really find interesting to listen to the people having restored the movie. You should keep the first dvd and throw away the second one, even if there is some nice bonus material. Otherwiise the Who material is fantastic.

Live Kinks!, April 13 2004
This was the first Kinks album i bought back in the 80's based on a review in Rolling Stone. It has aged fantastically well. While this live album tends to be on the hard rock side for many people the performance is quite fantastic.

Absolutely spectacular CD. Juliana Hatfield's finest hour. Both the songs and the recording are perfect.

New Tommy, Feb 23 2004
The sound is simply amazing. It is clearer than it ever was and you realize what a fantastic group the who were back then. Of course these new remastered versions are getting more and more expensive but they are definitively worth every penny. The extras are also very very good.
