High Adventure for Young Readers, April 4 2011
Having just returned from their adventure with the vikings, Patrick and Beth are on their way to ancient Rome. I love the way that this story shares the history of the era, as well as the sights and sounds of the arena. Children will enjoy this adventure, I know I did, and be left wanting to read what else happens to these daring cousins in their future adventures with the Imagination Station. I highly recommend this book to parents of young readers. (I received a complimentary copy of this book for the purpose of review.)

New Odyssey Adventures for young readers, April 4 2011
I grew up in the early days of Adventures in Odyssey, and the Imagination Station. I remember clearly trying to remember to turn on the radio at the exact time that the program was going on. I didn't always make it, and more often then not missed the program completely, but I have fond memories of the times that we did listen. My enjoyment of Odyssey has continued with me into adulthood. That is one of the reasons that I jumped at the chance to review this book. Voyage with the Vikings is a completely delightful, easy reader. The book is recommended for children ages 7 and up, and I can't wait to be able to share this story with my son when he reaches that age. The book is not overly Christian in it's message, but it is an enjoyable and clean adventure for young readers to immerse themselves in. I wish that I had books like this when I was younger. I might have taken an interest in reading sooner. I highly recommend this book to parents of young readers who are looking for a clean adventure for their children to enjoy. Amish Fiction, April 4 2011
Beside Still Waters gives and interesting view into the life of an Amish family who has known their share of hardships, but still clings to the God that can sustain them. When the family decides to go to Montana, to escape the memories of a tragic accident, they are amazed to discover that the Englisch are not bad. As friendships bloom, so does the understanding of what it really means to be Amish, and a child of God. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy Amish Fiction. Powerful story, Mar 21 2011
It is amazing the things that can change the course of a person's life. At times it is unfathomable to understand how addictions can take a good man down the road of destruction. This is the story of two people who have never been able to live up to the expectations of their fathers. It is a story of overcoming the difficulties that we face everyday. It is a story of love and forgiveness, and mostly of second chances. It is the story of how one girl changed the lives of everyone that she met, and she might even change your life too. I recommend this book to lovers of historical fiction. Book has been provided courtesy of Baker Publishing Group and Graf-Martin Communications, Inc. A worthy story, Mar 21 2011
Siri Mitchell weaves a fascinating tale of three young women and their quest for love. The historical context of the novel is intriguing, and the story is full of action and suspense. Mitchell uses a very unique voice in the telling of this story, giving us a wider view of what is happening in Boston at that time. Throughout the story, Mitchell talks directly to the reader, giving the book a different feel then most historical fiction written at this time. I'm not sure that it is a devise I would have used, but it seems to work for this novel. I recommend this book to lovers of historical fiction. Must Read for Engaged and Newly Married Couples!, Mar 21 2011
Growing up, financial discussions were taboo in our household. My mother and father rarely spoke about money - other than to argue about it - and so I learned to avoid all discussions on the matter. Thankfully, my husband was of a different mindset. Early in our marriage we sat down and talked about many of the issues found in this book. I have never been so glad that we did. Our marriage has had very few financial arguments in it, and I truly believe it is because we took care of things right at the beginning. Matt Bell's book really hits on the key areas of financial struggles and arguments. My husband and I enjoyed reading this book and discussing again the many considerations found between the covers. I think this book should be required reading for any couple going into marriage. I highly recommend this book to engaged and newly married couples! Highly Recommended, Mar 1 2011
I requested this book for review, and promptly forgot all about it. One night, my husband and I were having a conversation over dinner about evil in the world. It was very interesting listening to his opinions on the subject and throwing ideas back and forth. I enjoyed the discussion immensely. The next day, Norman Geisler's book came in the mail. I immediately sat down, and became engrossed in his arguments and logical progressions. The book was an enjoyable, and informative read. I can't wait to share it with my husband. I know that he'll appreciate it as much as I did. I highly recommend this book! (I received a complimentary copy of this book for the purpose of review.)

Must Read!, Mar 1 2011
Larkspur Cove caught me from the very first page. I had to know what was going to happen to these characters. I had to figure out the mystery of the little girl. I had to know... and before I knew it the book was finished (even if my housework wasn't). Lisa Wingate did an amazing job with this story. The characters are interesting, varied, and real. I hurt with them, shivered with them in the terror of the night, and walked with them in the glory of the day. I couldn't put the book down. I highly recommend this book. Worthwhile Reading, Mar 1 2011
This was the first of Ann Tatlock's stories that I have ever read, and I found it to be very enjoyable. Her main character, Roz, is a wonderful girl who is in the middle of a situation that she can't fully understand. I love the way that Roz looks at life, and how she interoperates what is going on around her. Of course, the addition of Tillie to the household gives the story a deeper and more interesting plot. This story is full of danger, suspense, and trying to figure out what is truth. I recommend Promises to Keep to any reader of Contemporary fiction. Highly Recommended, Mar 1 2011
Kathryn Cushman gives the reader a lot to think about in this wonderful novel. Just reading this book made me think about the long reaching effects of the decisions that I make. What I do doesn't just affect me. Cushman's character has to struggle through some difficult situations ' a few of her own making ' and find out what it really means to forgive. I found myself thinking about the story long after I had closed the final pages. I would highly recommend this novel to readers of contemporary fiction.
