I received this album only a couple days ago and so far am very pleased. I have never listened to much Dr. John in the past but as soon as I heard a few teasers a few months ago I was very intrigued!
I have only managed to squeeze in a few complete listens to the album on vinyl but so far I am very pleased with the quality. Sounds smooth and clean. It doesn't say anywhere that it is a 180g but it is definitely heavier than a standard LP(which is nice).
As far as the music itself, I have managed to listen to the included CD quite a few times in the car and find myself enjoying it more and more every time. The musical arrangement is great and the strange funk sound is something I'd like to hear more of these days!
This four vinyl set is a must have for any Zeppelin fan! From the moment I opened the packaging I felt like a little kid on Christmas, the presentation of the product alone is great. A beautiful box with matching sleeves for each vinyl.
As far as vinyl quality itself I am very pleased. I have personally never enjoyed Zeppelin as much as when I listen to this box set. My absolute favorite is Whole lotta Love(Vinyl 1,side 2) the sound quality of Robert Plants voice is simply amazing. You literally want to start rocking out on the spot!
All in all a great product and definitely worth the 70$ price tag.
Also, as always I have to applaud Amazon on its great service and speedy shipping.
