4.0 out of 5 stars The Shining, June 8 2004
Based upon Stephen King's novel - The Shining, will keep you in suspense for all its short 270 minutes! An alcoholic who is trying his very best to recover moves himself and his family into another town when he gets a job to look after and live in a hotel when no one but them is there. Once they set their foot in, things start to get horribly scary as demons start to haunt them all through the alcoholic husband/father.
Stephen King writings can be either very bad or very good. This one is very good indeed and if you're a fan of horror movies - it is a must!
Enjoy

If it wasn't for Kari Wuhrer's attractive naked body that appears throughout the movie this movie wouldn't "work" like it did.
Kari plays Lauren, who is an analyst at an investment banking company. Baldwin plays Clay and he is the son of a very rich owner of a client firm. Together they make a plan to get all the rich man's money without killing him.
Good only if you like Kari Wuhrer...you'll get to see a lot of her...if you know what I mean.

If only Mel Gibson was the American War Captain Tom Cruise is then this movie would probably be one of my favorites.
Tom Cruise has given us the poorest performance ever in this movie and I am still astounded since the day I read that he was expecting Oscars for this very performance.
Then the other hole to this movie's ship was the "comedian" Billy Connolly that everytime he appeared made you feel you're attending a cheap theatric play.
But after all this movie's plot wasn't bad at all. It is actually quite gripping!
It is about an American Captain who trains Japanese troops to use modern weapons effectively but soon he gets captured by Samurai's and he's kept as a prisoner until the snows melt!
I can't recommend this movie because I sincerely think it was ruined by the unneccesary Billy Connolly and the poor performance of the talented Tom Cruise. But hey this is just my opinion.

This movie is based upon a true story.
It's Christmas day but that doesn't mean that Burnett and Stackhouse will be spared of a mission to fly over war-torn Bosnia.
As they fly over Bosnia, these two brave American soldiers notice that the serbs are still roaming the Bosnia's region but worst of all they discover a mass grave. The hand-blooded serbs don't like the idea of Americans shooting photographs from the plane and reveal their ugly deeds to the world so they Shoot the plane succesfully then things start to go terribly wrong as the Americans are behind dangerous enemy lines.
One gets captured and executed immediately. The other one escapes and this movie is how he survives.
Absolutely accurate. The Serbs and French commanders who back up their war crimes are shown like they truly are.
A must see movie.

Every home should own this movie. Everyone should watch it.
Part false, part true - this movie is the story of William Wallace (Mel Gibson) a brave Scottish man who fights for his country's freedom from English oppression in the 13-th century.
William Wallace's family were all killed in earlier battles with English - this time he's gonna Free his country once and for all!
A must see movie.

Adam Sandler plays Billy Madison who is over 20 years old son of a very rich man. Billy is lazy beyond belief and he is unemployed. When his father wants to retire and wants to hand over the family business to Billy but his vice president Eric protests thinking that he deserves to be in charge of the business instead. Billy is not happy about Eric taking over his father's business at all so his dad makes a deal with both, Eric and Billy.
Billy has to go to the school again and if he passes all the exams then that's when he'll take over his family business. But will Billy actually succeed???
Extremely funny like every Adam Sandler's movies

Rowan Atkinson talks in this movie for a change!
It's one of the best comedies ever.
This time, mr.Bean is a caretaker at Royal National Gallery. As a matter of fact he's a sleeper as he sleeps all day long at his work place.
Since the chairman adores mr.Bean instead of getting him fired he sends mr.Bean to U.S.A.
This is where the trouble begins...:)
A must see movie

Based upon a novel by Greg Iles, this movie absolutely Rocks!
Joe (Kevin Bacon) is a child kidnapper. He's done it before and he does it again. This time he choses Karen Jenning's family and in broad daylight he forces himself into her house and gets hold of Abigail, Karen's daughter.
But this time it is different. Abigail is asthmatic and she could die in kidnapper hands!
What'll happen next???
You better watch it yourself! :)
From the time Abigail gets kidnapped until the end of the movie you'll feel that you're sitting on thorns or you'll bite all your nails until "there's none".
Highly Recommended

This movie is a life story of Adele Hugo, the daughter of the famous Victor Hugo.
You must watch this movie and learn what True Love really is!
I'd give my both arms for a wife like Adele yet the man she was obsessed with didn't care at all about her!
A must see movie!

Deranged - as you probably know by now is based upon the most cruelest and the most sick serial killer Ed Gein.
When his mother dies he goes absolutely nuts, especially when "she" calls for him to pick her up from the grave. To fill up the skeleton of her mother he needs more bodies so he keeps digging graves and killing women.
What a sicko...
The actor who played the sicko was very very good. He almost makes you think that he's the sicko himself.
I can not recommend this movie to anyone. The true story plot is just too sick and extremely scary. It's something no one can ever imagine.
