What a fun book! I love the patterns!, April 1 2012
I am obsessed with just going through page by page and thinking about how I can't wait to do each project. I would disagree that its not for beginners, I'm a beginner and this book has great instructions and different patterns for different skill level. I love this book and I hope the authors make more :)

My baby sleeps 8+ hours now!, July 19 2011
I was also very skeptical of this book. I had also bought other books about sleep that didn't require the crying it out method. None of it worked... at all. My 5 month old wouldn't sleep more than 4 hours at a time. Sometimes less. So I went to the library and because it was free I picked up this book to see what it was all about. I was convinced! I then gave the Ferber method a try and now my baby can sleep 8 to 10 hours straight every night. I will tell you it is hard the first couple nights, but then you see progress and its not so hard anymore. Best sleep book ever, I recommend it to any new mom who's fed up and just needs some sleep!

Good read - it was a bit anti-climatic for me, April 26 2011
This was an easy read. Very well written and had really interesting parts. But, I wasn't on the edge of my seat reading this book. It's just a story about a really interesting woman.

Easy to follow recipes!, Jan 4 2011
I haven't had the opportunity to make anything from this book yet. But I took a read-through and I'm encouraged to make my baby's own food one day. The recipes look super simple! There's great information on how to store, how long to store, and when to store. I'm glad I picked this one up. I hope my little bambina will like the food I make her!

A classic Potty Book, Jan 4 2011
I bought this book for a friend of mine who's having a little boy. I had to buy it as I had the girl one when I was learning how to use the potty. The pictures are great and hilarious, and its a book I never forgot. I highly recommend for little ones who are learning how to use the ceramic throne.

Projects are cute, but instructions aren't the best., Dec 29 2010
The projects in this book are absolutely adorable. I want to do every single one of them! I'm currently in the process of making the double sided quilt for my baby's crib. I'm finding that the instructions aren't so easy to follow. BUT! That could be because of two reasons: 1) I'm pregnant so I have less patience and 2) I'm not a total beginner sewer, but I'm not Intermediate either. This is a nice book to give to someone who likes to sew and are expecting or has a little one. Love Amy Butler!

Great read! Brought such insight into an era of black vs. white., Dec 29 2010
I only read this book because it was the assigned reading for my book club. I'm so glad I did because it brought such insight into how white people treated the blacks back in the 60's in Jackson, Mississippi. The mentality of some of the white women was just outrageous. It made me think of what my actions and mentality would've been like in such a time. Anyway, this is definitely a book to read, you won't be disappointed!

Not what I expected at all., Dec 23 2010
Here's what I had problems with: - The disk is massive. It looks really ugly on my dash. You can get smaller ones at big box stores. - The literature was not written in proper English. Hard to read. - The holder is not the same as in the picture. My GPS keeps sliding out. The concept is there, but it's not delivering.

MUST READ, Sep 22 2010
I breezed through these books within a month or two. They are soooo addictive! There is a theme or pattern that develops eventually: Sookie falls in love, Sookie gets hurt, Sookie is rescused. But love them!

Fun book!, Sep 22 2010
This book is such a fun book to read. When you need a mental break, it's a good read. I guess the only drawback (since I didn't give it a full 5 stars) was that it drags on a little bit. But, maybe I'm just an impatient person.
