5.0 out of 5 stars Great Series, Moon Machines., Aug. 27 2009
This review is from: Moon Machines (DVD)
Moon Machines is in my opinion one of the 'must have' moon mission sets. It is an in depth look at the building of the technology that allowed men to walk on the moon. Very well written and narrated. This set along with "From the Earth to the Moon" is all you will ever need to know about the moon missions. From the Earth to the Moon: Signature Edition Buy them both, you will not be disappointed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Weak Journey, Aug. 27 2009
This review is from: Journey To The Moon (DVD)
This is a hastily assembled video in my opinion. Brought out to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 journey to the moon, I expected a more in depth better narrated show. The fact that men landing on the moon was arguably the greatest feat ever achieved by man does not hold this bland show together. Still if you are a moon mission fan as I am, it is worth having. Mixed in with the usual photos and video of the event there are some very good shots of the Saturn V rocket lifting off that I had not seen before. Not a bad effort but very run of the mill. Given the choice get "Moon Machines" and "From the Earth to the Moon" instead.
