Total History Of Baseball Cards, Nov 21 2011
I have been a Baseball Card collector since the 50's and have seen most of the books about the subject that have come out. I think this book is the most complete one that I have ever read. I was especially fascinated about the stories of Topps Cards dumping cases of the rare 1952 cards into the river. The behind the scenes at the card factory in Brooklyn are great reading to anyone who really cares about the cards more than investing in them.

Complete Singles, Jun 28 2011
Every A and B side of all the singles that Matt released during his long career are featured on this package. Many have not been heard for a long time and it is great to finally hear them all. He is a very underated singer who seems to sound a lot like Englebert Humperdink, but Matt is the original. This box set is a great value for what it cost.

Beautiful Historic Photos, May 27 2011
If you are a fan of baseball history and love old historic photos you will love this book. There are many fantastic reproductions of old cards and beautiful photos that can be looked at many times over. My favorite photo is a classic one of Babe Ruth posed at bat in a studio.

Finally Found Baseball's Greatest Game, Feb 17 2011
Even though I am a Yankee fan and was broken heaarted at the time, I was fanatically searching for this game for a long time. I was not disappointed. The quality is great considering the age. The only thing missing was the national anthem and the original commercials. The second disc has some great colored video of the entire World Series. I recommend this to any Baseball fan.

A truly personal book, Nov 4 2010
Nellie Fox is my favorite Baseball player but unfortunately I never had the chance to meet him. This book is a great substitute. There are many stories of Nellie showing the personal side of him. The authors have gone to a great deal of trouble to interview many people who had been closely associated to Nellie. Nellie Fox is a Hall of Famer as a Baseball player and is an even bigger Hall of Famer as a person.

Unbelievable Memorabilia, Nov 3 2010
If you appreciate classic Baseball memorabilia, as I do then you'll love this disc. Barry Halper's collection is shown is detail. He had the world's greatest collection. Several Hall of Famers are shown talking about the collection. I doubt if anybody else will ever have a collection equal to what Barry had. It is too bad he had to break it up. The second part of the video talks about what the world of collecting, buying and selling Baseball memorabilia. Many well known dealers of sports collectables are interviewed.

Early Supremes, July 9 2010
This CD is something I have been looking forward to for a long time. If you are a fan of the Supremes you will love every cut on this disc. It is interesting to see how great Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson sound as lead singers on some of the songs. The sound quality is fantastic.

King Of Soul, April 25 2010
This is a beautiful package as good as the previous seven volumes of the complete Janes Brown singles - A and B sides. Hippo-select always makes great quality in their releases. If you are a James Brown fan you will love this series.

Birth Of Rockabilly, April 4 2010
If you are a fan of rockabilly you will love this CD. I never heard of the majority of these artists but I loved every cut on the disc. I just picture myself in the mid 1950's when I sit back and listen to these wonderful songs.
